I signed up to UEFA TV to catch the end of the U19 match v Spain. Ireland got their 0-0 draw. Very determined performance.
I spotted it from seeing England win 10-0 and looking for other highlights.

I'm confused why people keep mentioning a goal for Ireland is to do better than Poland. Even Eileen Gleeson mentioned it. Even if Ireland concede 10 goals to France, they are already "seeded" or scheduled to be playing the group winners of League C. A draw is taking place on July 19th to see who Ireland (and 3rd + 4th place teams in League A) will play in the 1st round of playoffs. So it doesn't matter if Ireland doesn't do worst than Poland. Eileen and Emma should use these games to hone in who's Ireland's best and strongest starting 11

I also think Katie McCabe's talent is completely squandered as left back. She needs to be part of the forward line as she is the only one brave enough to take shots from outside the box as well as the quality to make good passes for runs from Denise, Amber, Leanne, etc
Hopefully her yellow card suspension shows that Ireland is OK without her as left back and desperately need her to help Ireland get more shots on goal and receive crosses in the box
