Today I interviewed Japanese people about their favorite country. Personally, it was a lot of fun. Everyone loves America lol Certainly Japan is quite susceptible to American culture. Things that are popular in America will definitely come to Japan. Korea is also popular now. KPOP and K dramas are becoming a trend. In fact, I also watch Korean CZcamsrs. What kind of interview should I do next? Tell me in the comments!
Awesome contents, Keep it up

@@ronnachaiaramraks3336 I love Kpop and Jpop, and also kdrama and animé
Interesting, I thought it would be Germany.
What Japanese know about thailand . Wanted to see this question
I’ve come to the conclusion of this after watching some of your videos and personal opinions: Japanese society tend more to America as they see it as free land to escape from the strict society while Americans like Europe because of the way it’s portrayed as a dream place and Europeans prefer Japan because it’s a more perfect society and more civilised. So in the end it’s a circle made by the way of portraying of our societies and always going for the things that’s missing to achieve our dream .
Hit the nail on the head
Rather we are all trying to find happiness like sri M said
I don't think that Europeans prefer Japan...
You're right. I'm in the States, and almost everybody here wants to go to Europe, while a lot of people in Asia think America is the ideal place (half my family is from South Korea, and that's a common answer there. Even in the dramas), and my family in Seoul tell us that it's becoming increasingly less unusual seeing Europeans settle in Korea than ever before, usually young people because of the K-wave.
However, visiting a place vs actually living/settling there are completely different things. Every place has its pros and cons, but we never realize that unless we actually live somewhere for a while, because we only ever see other countries through their media (movies, TV shows, music, etc.). A lot of non-Westerners who'd immigrated to America from poorer countries, even if they'd visited multiple times, sometimes end up disappointed when they decide to settle here and find out how expensive things are, that most of us Americans are actually broke and live in some small, boring town that nobody's ever heard of, and that life is not like Hollywood, and same goes for vice versa with lots of Westerners moving to Japan etc., and facing the same issues. It's ironic, but it's part of human nature to think that some other place has it better and/or it's exotic. Happiness is from within.
To be fair, though, I like Japanese food, anime, and very cute things, plus my grandmother was originally from Japan, so, personally, I'd like to visit Japan first. So much to see, lots of nice nature, cute people, and I definitely want to shop there, especially for their cute toys. Live there, though? No, not anymore. It's not all the fluff and cuteness we see on their media. The low crime rate is one of the reasons why I thought Japan was ideal, as well as much better manners compared to the States, but then I heard that it's the most expensive place, plus they do have their own set of other problems, like less diversity and the chaotic work schedules. Plus the language barrier, and the earthquakes...
True
I really enjoyed to hear different opinions of Japanese regarding different countries, before I don't have any idea about it, I like to visit Japan very soon, I have read about Japanese culture, history and traditions but language less💞

Can you do a video where you ask Japanese people that have been to the USA what they thought about American people? If you do that please ask them where they went to, small town Maine is very different from urban California, we are very diverse in culture and behavior (for example New England is more reserved and quiet, Southerners are more friendly and loud, etc.)
Anyway, thank you for your videos.
"Which country do you love the most" is purely a function of soft power. Countries with the greatest soft power (read: reach and influence) will tend to rank high on that list. In other words, most people will have roughly the same answer to this kind of question. Outlier answers will come either from the well-traveled or the well-read, neither of which is a likely quality of the average person. I think this video is a pretty good demonstration of this.
this is so interesting
Soft power certainly plays a part. so does mass media and propaganda of a certain country.
True tho
@@sara.cbc92 Propaganda seems to weigh a lot on this specific case, I've seen a lot of Japanese people have this blind idea of the US when a lot of the crimes commited in Japan are from US bases on Japan, and even people from the US will openly tell you how New York sucks, and as a Mexican I don't even need anyone to tell me California is hell on earth, I was born knowing it is.
I guess so many movies making the piece of land that sole our countinent's name look so good really made an impression on the rest of the world..
@@gabrielteddy2588 Most of the crime committed in Japan isn't on American bases lol. Anyone who's actually been there knows their police force is pretty half assed. It's designed to look good externally, not actually function. If you don't believe me, you can find pdfs online of the Japanese Reforms they started awhile ago. They haven't done much yet. I can't speak directly for other bases, but Fussa is a very reputable one and popular with the locals. Okinawa is protested because of the air noise. Fussa has a yearly friendship festival which was very cool when I was there. You can read more on why Japan-American relations are high. Most of it actually dated back to the 1800s. Japanese and Americans quite literally are just compatible cultures. Not everything is some evil plot, sometimes people just get along.
Hey Takashii, I love your stuff. Never feel like you need to change anything about the channel. I love how simple and straightforward it is, without a bunch of unnecessary music and effects and such. Keep doing what you're doing.
Hey Takashii, well, here in Peru we´ve got a huge community of japanese people, after Brazil of course, a little show of that, I´ve got a ton of teachers of japanese background (nikkei) at my university. Interesting questions and some surprising answers. Especially with the popularity of New York and LA, as they are very different form what one sees in films and TV programs. Being lucky enough to live in Japan, Korea, Germany and the US, traveling around to see places away from the tourist popular sites was always the greatest experiences. Hi, I enjoy these channels about interviewing random people in Japan. I also enjoy Nobita and CathyCat.
I would love to travel to Japan one day. And Japan is the 2nd country which Brazilians want to visit, only behind US.
As a Canadian I'm so happy the girl you interviewed had a great homestay here! 😇🇨🇦
I'm dreaming of the day I can visit Japan 🇯🇵
such a wholesome comment.
Also i like to visit Canada 😎 the north america and cold area
It is a very interesting concept. Thank you.
Loving your video from India 🇮🇳
I think Korea, China and Japan are well-known for hating each other and being rivals in many things, but that's mostly about politics and history. Culturally, we love each other's culture and people and now that I am in Europe, I always rely on my Chinês and Japanese friends in many senses. I'm happy to watch this video and remind myself that it's the same in other two countries. Hope we can eventually be closer to each other :)
@BANGTASTIC LIFE why you like China?
@BANGTASTIC LIFE ofc I'm Chinese itself man 🤣🤣🤣
@BANGTASTIC LIFE lol I don't even know you

I like these videos, we get to find out more about what Japanese people like and where they want to travel. It seems Japanese people have a love for New York. For the guy that likes Guinness beer, I can see why Japanese people might like that because of its history and there is also a certain way it is supposed to be poured and served almost like a tea ceremony, but for Guinness beer. 😜
Hello, I have been watching your videos for a while now and I think it’s great. Can you ask foreigners in Japan what they do for a living in Japan and tips for people who want to move to Japan. :)
Hey Takashi, can you ask people in Japan what sports they follow/watch and which teams they support inside and outside of Japan?

Thanks for your sharing, we really need a Japanese to know people living in Japan. 😂
You should do a video on car/motorcycle culture 😎
