Hi, I just received one of these secondhand. I'm new to audio receivers, so I don't really know what's "normal" and what's not. When I turn it on, it makes a "click" after a few seconds and then starts humming/buzzing softly. It's not a terrible buzz, but it is noticeable when the sound/music isn't playing. Is this is low hum/buzz a problem, or is this normal for audio receivers? The sound/music coming through the speakers is great.
Greetings; I obtained a used one of this unit, no remote control. Can anybody tell me how (or direct me to a website) so I can select the optical video input? Thanks.
Toss it in the freakin garbage and buy a real Rolls Royce and get either an Onkyo TX-NR5009. or an Integra DTR-80.2. enough said! I only found this site looking for discreet codes for this same paperweight.

@ClactonRadio Yes, it doesn't get hot at all. I don't run it very often and it doesn't have alot of speakers to power, so it runs pretty efficient.
