I can really tell how proud he is of his design! I'm thinking of buying a SRT HD. I might wait till next year since the mowing season is almost over this year. They're beautiful lawn mowers, something I would be proud to own!
You gotta love the fact that the owner seems to love the lawnmowers his company produces it ensures that innovation will stay on the forefront of his agenda allowing the customers to benefit from a top of the line mower. His passion is on full display he explained things that most sales people would miss or not know he seems to love what he’s doing. There’s a since of pride in his tone and demeanor. Job well done sir.
I got one he really did show out with the design. 18 months not a dollar in maintenance im really impressed. Robert is first class all the way.
We just purchased a 61” SRT HD with a 32 hp Vanguard. Amazing mower. My son had a Hustler Fastrak and fell in love with the Spartan. Such an innovative machine. Can’t wait to see what else Spartan comes up with in the future.
Two years later these Spartan in Aust Called Bushranger are taking off in sales. Proven reliability getting great feedback and sales going up up up. I may be finally getting around to get one today.
What happens when the computer pad fails to start the mower? Needs a manual key start integrated for the purpose of computer failure. The sun will eventually fade the keypad I would think a cover over it wouldn’t be bad. I’m not talking bad about the mower. It looks like a beast of a machine. I was just thinking about all the things that could happen overtime. A lot of features I like about this compared to other brands
I was thinking the same thing. Some sort of over ride start capability.
That's why I bought a GRAVELY, I thought that the spartan needed a 🔑 option start up also✌
Distribution in Australia by Bushranger. Happy it's here. Saw one in action last week. It did good. I just wish Australian co's could find a way to land it cheaper on our shores. This is about $9k here for residential and $11k start commercial. I'm not rich so I keep saving 😂 and saving.....
Felt like George W Bush was giving a review of his new lawn mower from his Texas ranch. MERICA!
Just purchased an RZ pro 61” for residential/light commercial use. Will be positing reviews soon
So, how's it performing?
Hope to hear your review.
I just bought a spartan month ago by far my favorite mower
Seems like a nice thought out mower! Not a sit down guy, but would like to demo one! Need to develop a stand on👍
I want this mower. SLE has it for $4000. I was going to buy it but they can only do local delivery, no shipping to MD. This is due to spartan shipping restrictions from corporate. I checked local dealer, they want $8000 for the mower. How can I buy one for $4000? RZ 54 inch 24 hp
I think you sold me a new mower . nice shoes lol
Machine looks like It was made by Batman.
I want one. Going out this weekend to test one out.
Y’all should make a walk behind to get into fenced backyards.
I just ordered an RZ Pro 54" w/the B&S 25hp commercial engine and then realized the striping kit isn't compatible w/the RZ. Is this something Spartan is working on? To me, it's the last link to perfection.
Such Amazing
Why do some Spartan mowers stripe and others not? I have a 2021 SRTXD 61" deck with 38.5 hp Kawasaki. I have used different blades on different types of grasses and lengths and 290 hrs later have yet to see a stripe. I've seen others that will with the same mower and setup. The dealer can't figure it out either. Spartan tech told my dealer he didn't have an answer. I'm having buyers remorse. I wish I had went with Scagg for a better cut. If it weren't for my awesome dealer I would definitely wish I had went with Scagg.
Hello Mr. Foster . I like the Spartan zero turn mowers and they are what they are said to be. I have a 42 inch cut RZC. And would like to know if it can be built to a 48 inch cut as an RZC platform. This would give the customers a bigger option between the 42 and the 56 in the RZC . I am a Disabled Veteran and need a larger cutting deck . Thanks
Great person, great product. Built like a tank
So my local Spartan dealer is selling a 54 inch for more than you stated this 61 inch is at 6599.
This video is from 2018, so check out current models and pricing here: spartanmowers.com/zero-turn-mowers/
My customer service experience when calling Spartan just a few days ago-
Customer- Hello, I just plunged almost 9k on a 2018 Mark Martin and was wondering if you have an Oil Guard System that I can purchase for this model.
Lady on the phone- Sorry sir, you have to call the dealer for that question.
Customer- Couldn't you at least tell me if it is available for my unit's 32HP Vanguard engine?
Lady- Again, you need to call the dealer as I can not answer that question.
I called the dealer- I have no info from Spartan on the oil guard system for Vanguard engine except they have it on their top line model.
What a horrible way to start my customer experience on my first ZTR. And I picked Spartan based on the warm and candid personality I saw on Robert's (Owner) youtube video when I was researching ZTR options. Horrible, horrible! I wonder if I made the right decision.
I'm so sorry you did not have a great first experience with our customer service. I assure you that is not the norm. To answer your question, the Oil Guard cannot be added to an existing engine. The oil route is plumbed differently when using the Oil Guard and has to be done at the Vanguard factory. Please feel free to contact me directly at roger.pemberton@spartanmowers.com if there is anything else I can do for you.
Thank you Roger, now that took all about 2 minutes to answer. Please post it near your CS team's phone so they know the answer and perhaps broadcast it to all your dealers. Simple solution to simple concerns. I appreciate your response. @@spartanmowers
I love your mowers Robert..However I am not a fan of the Tech Pack's under the seat...I prefer a traditional Air Ride or Suspension seat...is Spartan offering either of those now..I think I heard Spartan will now build you a custom seat.
the Spartan Mower looks amazing, i am considering purchasing one. Would y'all ever make a more wheelchair\accessible friendly mower? Message me if you need someone to test with.
I like the Exhaust Tips !! Not sure what model it was but it came right straight out the back , in the middle 2 tips ! This one has 1 out the side ?
JDRTRM JDRTRM it is the Mark Martin Edition.
Been having trouble with my hydro gears after a year of usages mower not pulling as well struggling going up heels. I'm not sure if it's some things needs adjusted. any suggestions?
Can you get a grass collection system on one of the Spartan mower's
What is the price on this mower?
To the Spartan manufacturer you need to start putting out parts for these machines we have a 2016 Spartan mower I've been waiting on a fan blade for the hydraulics it's been 2 months I haven't seen it yet I live in Wichita Kansas there should be more parts out there nothing's perfect things will break it's a good mower we use it heavily i
What machine is it you are referring to that is 5399.00
You seem to Express the fact and the words homeowners when you're talking about this machine. Is this strictly homeowner quality and will not stand up to contractor day-to-day service for five years. So you're looking for a homeowner base for purchasing your machines and not for contractors? What is the warranty? Do homeowners get one warranty and contractors get another. Totally interested but the presentation leads me to believe it's not a contractor quality mower?
Boss, I've been on one of these machines. My neighbor mows commercially and has this exact model. Any of them would hold up just fine. They are beasts.
Do you offer a powered bagger?
Oh my GOD
There very nice! But I have to have the ability to bag! Especially in the fall cleanup season. makes no sense to have a machine like this and not have the capability to bag.
With the heavy duty blades and deep deck system along with the ability to close the chute off, everything will be mulched so fine there's no real need for bagging.
U guys should think of making a garden tractor that would look good in my pole barn😂
i almost bought the a spartan mower, but i couldn't find much info on the hydro's for long term reliability they also looked kind of small and light weight. i also wanted a Kawasaki engine and they told me it was a 1100 upgrade. thats crazy.
i didnt test ride the mower but its seemed well made and a solid machine also the best looking in my opinion. to bad they wanted to gouge me for the Kawasaki,
DAN KOLLARS Parker hydros have larger openings where the hydraulic lines hook up so it takes less power to run them and the fluid stays cooler. That's why they only have to be serviced every 1000 hrs after the first service at 250. All other hydros have to be serviced every 500 hrs. Parker hydros are the same hydros that are used by Dixie Chopper
I'm in the same spot. Want a Kawasaki motor, but not paying the leg with the arm they already cost.
Gas guage?????
Wade Davis it has a gas garage.
Want a nice ride...get a Ferris IS dude.
