Der britische Musiker Billy Bartholomew (geb. 1901) kam 1924 nach Deutschland und musizierte mit mehreren deutschen Jazzbands. Er Gründete schließlich 1928 ein Orchester mit dem er im Delphi-Palast spielte, daher auch der Name „Delphians“. Die Deutsche Grammophon hat mit dem Orchester mehrere heiße Jazz Aufnahmen gemacht aber auch ein wenig populären Schlager wie „Ich küsse Ihre Hand, Madame“
Nach meiner Meinung, die schönste Version des ikonischen Tangos

Sadly not at the moment, but some fellow shellack collectors have these. I’ll ask for permission to upload their Al Bowlly Discs from Germany
@@DasJazzArchiv I'd appreciate it immensely if it could be done. There are currently no good sounding transfers of John Abriani's Six with Al Bowlly to my knowledge. Only Just Once Again/My Regular Girl (Homocord 4-2512).
