Glad to see Zenni with the partnership. I have 4 pairs of prescription glasses and they are all from Zenni.
How is the quality?
@@The-SoullessI'd imagine they'd be pretty good
@@meric12131415 yeah I guess, but I just found out they don't ship to the Netherlands :(
@@The-Soulless ah that's rather unfortunate☹️
Are you happy with your purchases from Zenni? I ask because I am unfamiliar with them. I look forward to what you have to share. Thank you.
I'm so happy meta is bumping up and making their community so excited for the new headset, great job meta, you bring the best headsets at affordable prices
We do it all for the VR and Quest community 🔥
India ready for uninstall facebook, instagram, whatsapp.
I'm gonna need this since my left eye severely suffers from astigmatism and I'm getting a MQ3. I appreciate the thoughtfulness in using prescription lenses in VR so that I can get the full effect of vr-immersion
Thank you for making this an official thing! 😊
You're so welcome ❤️
That's what I was thinking.
You forgot to mention that these are only arbitrarily available in 4 randomly selected countries across 3 different continents
Yeah this sucks ☝️
What are the countries? I’d guess the us but what else
@@Coolpig551 USA, Canada, UK, Japan
You can get a US address from third parties
There are official European sellers, but it's still puzzling why you would exclude most European countries.
This is perfect. I LOVE ZENNI!
Hopefully, these are easier to snap on then WidmoVR's lenses for the Quest 2.
Honsvr is lot cheaper and good quality
@@ji3200 Just looked at the HonsVR ones, they do look good as well. Thanks, will decide sometime in Oct which ones to get.
We love you too 🙌🤓
I've been using Zenni for years and have loved every pair of glasses I have got from them. SUPER affordable and good quality, I already ordered my Zenni lenses for a Quest 3 I haven't even pre-ordered yet.
I was scared when Facebook/Meta first acquired Oculus, but with how things are going, I am glad that Oculus did this to have the financial backing to make these new Meta VR headsets mainstream and really good. The fact that I did a hardware survey for Steam and when I looked at what the most popular VR headset was, it was amazing to see the Quest 2 as the most used VR headset for SteamVR.
So awesome to hear that you love your Zennis! Glad you found us! 🙌
Preordered day one, got to have these when my Quest 3 arrives.
i was worried about how lenses would attach when looking at the new design since most older designs clipped around the outer lip. good to see this was thought of
I got these yesterday and I'm so happy with them. They are top notch quality. I was worried they might not be as great because of the awesome price. But I'm glad I got these over the brand I got before for my Quest 2. Only downside is that sometimes they touch the side of my nose if I don't use a thick enough facial interface. You may just slightly pull the facial interface forward to fix this problem or adjust it carefully and it no longer bothers. The pros outweigh the cons though. Recommended and definitely would buy again.
Exactly what I've been waiting for
Finally a official solution to useing glasses nice to see that i can just put my current information on the website and its done good job meta!
Having prescription lenses in my Meta Quest 2 was a night and day difference. I cannot imagine NOT having them always.
This is going to make a lot of people very happy :D
That's what we're striving for 🙌
Oh thank god, this is what I wanted
thank you for making script lenses affordable for this headset. I spent way too much on my lenses for the quest 3. It also looks like you designed the headset to take lenses instead of people making something up and I feel that would be incredible too if so. much appreciated..
🥳🥳🥳
I am so glad for this, great launch Meta quest
Hope you’re ready for tons of incredible new experiences 🙌
Cool! It's definitely on my wishlist
Honsvr is lot cheaper and good quality too
@ji3200 Good to know.
What exactly makes you think it's cheaper? they both are 50 bucks where I'm looking.@@ji3200
YES YES YES!! An official partnership for this was very needed.
And now it's finally here 🔥
Thank you for this!!! I was sad that I had to buy another prescription lenses somewhere else like for my Quest 2. Ahhh being blind…it isn’t nice 😂. Glasses gets a point for style! But then you gotta take care of it like a baby or else your vision is a no go.
I'm glad Zenni is making these I love getting glasses from them, although I can not use them because they don't support my prescription I hope they work well for those who buy them
Feel free to DM us over on IG and we would be more than happy to assist you with this!
finally, I have looked to getting a VR headset and being able to SEE will help.
meta killing it
I was worried it'd be months for lenses, but somehow we can preorder ones that are cheaper than alternatives! EPIC!
Oh wow! I was really wondering if Meta Quest 3 would be comfortable while wearing glasses, but there is even a possibility for Prescription Lenses! Really amazed!
Do you also make plano lenses for protecting the headset?
Nice Headset
It's pretty amazing, huh? 😏
@@MetaQuestVR yeah!😃

@@MetaQuestVR ain't no way Quest just replied to me, I'm cracking up🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
@@MetaQuestVR what do you mean by that?
Okay, THAT is impressive. Great accessibility for visually impaired people!
One step closer to improving VR accessibility for all 👏
Not available in Germany as of now. Any news on availability and price over here?
@@Twosplinters Awesome, thanks for letting me know! Just checked them out, price is also fair, will look out for them!
Amazing Job, Meta, this is what we needed. Is there any chance Zenni will collaborate with you yet again to produce prescription lenses for the Meta Quest 2?
It's nice to see you showing cleaning the lenses. A shame you don't include a lens cloth with the quest 😂even though in bulk they add about 1p to the cost 😂
Thank you!!!!!!!
i want it so badly 🤣
Cool, person in charge of this CZcams channel! Do you know if the Quest 3 will be sold in Bjs store?
this makes it 100x easier to clean the lenses as well
THANK GOD META, I DONT HAVE TO PLAY WITH MY F NG GLASSES
I wear standard +1.5 off the shelf glasses for general screen work and I depend on them for clarity. With the quest 3 I don't seem to have much of an issue it may be due to how close the screen is to my eyes. Will perscription lenses make a diffeference?, if so the SPH i assume would be +1.50 but what would the CYL and Axis be?
Will you guys sell these for quest 2 and pro and future quests
I hope this is available in europe, my gf and i bought both a vr headset and she wears glasses
Does this only work for myopia/farsightedness or also against astigmatism?
If its only one of the two, it wouldn't really help. Dont find something about it online currently.
Thanks!
Now my friends with glasses can use my headset!
If they all get their own pair of these lenses they can yes.
Spreading the joy of VR to all 🔥
Loved to see Zenni as an official prescription lens supplier for quest 3 but they don’t support my prescription. Did find hons VR with quest 3 prescription lenses that support my prescription let’s hope they work just as well 😅
Feel free to DM us over on IG and we would be happy to assist you with this!!
I have the same issue! My left eye is just outside the threshold
Cool! But what is Zenni? They copied the Zeiss-Logo. Do they have something to do with Zeiss?
Does it have prescription for quest pro?
When are we getting lens protectors? Preferably ones that are much cheaper than these prescription lens covers.
Thanks
will this be release in EU too?
So... When I had a PS VR2, I used my glasses. I have eyesight defect of -0.5 on both of my eyes. Does that really make a difference (in my case) to buy those or was it just a placebo effect that I was having when I was playing the other VR device?
I personally thought that wearing my glasses gave me a better look at the VR screen inside, without them I think it was more blurry... but as I've said, I'm not sure if it was a placebo effect or was it actually for real lol..
Its real, i have -3.0, in vr without glasses or lenses i can't see, like in real life
VR works pretty much the same way as regular sight. So if your vision is blurry in real life without glasses, it'll be blurry in VR too.
So it wasn't a placebo effect. Even -0.5 does a difference. Thanks!
@@Riddick94 If it has a difference in the real world it'll have a difference in VR
@@Riddick94 Careful not to scratch your lenses, I scratched my PSVR1 headset to abysmal levels (AND DIDNT EVEN NOTICE), the image slowly got more blurry overrall, because the headset lenses are a softer material, my eyeglasses made tiny scratches all over it.
Finally i dont have to fit my big bulky glasses into my quest 3 when i get it and only 50$?! Thank you meta
What's the native focal distance for Quest 3, please?
5 feet
@@SiXiam Similar to previous Quests then. Great. Do you have a source on that? (no offence!)
Not available :( Do you ship it to Europe?
I'm in Australia, can't seem to order them.
Meta site says not available
Meta will you have a sale on the headset for Black Friday
Highly highly doubtful as it would have just gotten released the quest 2 maybe but the 3 nopppeeeeee plus meta isn't really that much for sales
@@meric12131415yeah I’m just hoping because it is expensive
First things first you have to go to the eye doctor to get your eye exam, then you have the results for your eyes before buying a prescription?
I JUST PRE ORDER MY (QUEST 3) I CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT BY THE 10TH OF OCT

@@Jackielightning cool 😁
Could you please make the Quill vr work natively in Quest 3? If you can do it, I won't think twice to buy it.
i heard they were launching on October 10. If they have been preordered, woule yhey fomr launch day?
VR Wave is shaking and quaking right now...
What about just getting a spacer and wearing your glasses? The new headset will have a spacer, right?
Yes, Quest 3 can be adjusted to fit glasses.
Custom lenses are nice, though. Lets your eyes get slightly closer to the screen, can be more comfortable if you have larger glasses, and don't have to worry about glasses rubbing inside the headset.
Absolutely! Quest 3 will allow you to adjust the lens distance from your eyes and optimize your viewing experience. These features are conveniently built into the device's facial interface. You can also purchase Zenni prescription lenses to enhance your experience 🙌
Wow, only $50 as well. Much appreciated from a glasses wearer!
Gotta pay £12 tax and £12 shipping on top of that though
@@TomsTech94 Oh, dang. It was free shipping for me in the USA. From experience though, it's worth the investment as I spent over $100 on mine for the Quest 2.
🤓🙌
@ZenniOptical I ordered the day they were made available, and they aren't here on the day of release 😢
@@TomsTech94you better call zenni. I had to call them and now i see that they shipped the lenses out.

you might not have glasses, but for the protection alone i think its worth it
Hey all, what is best? Zenni or VR Optician ?
Yes!! 😊
A total game changer 🙌
From the specs I cannot see, are these antiglare, blue light protection ?
It has antiglare, but it doesn’t mention having a blue light filter on their website

@metaquestvr What is weird though, they do seem not to ship to my country - while meta headset is shipping (preorder on the way). That's a bit weird, isn't it?

Whaaaaaat 🤯
Everybody if you haven't already go and pre-order the meta quest 3. RIGHT NOW!!!!
Why are they not available in Germany/EU? :(
It for people that need glasses visor to play vr
where do we get the prescription from? I've been to 2 places that told me they don't do that.
Your eye doctor
The link is in the description.
Internet, like meta lenses or others like vr optician
does this mean you have to buy the prescription lenses to play with the meta quest 3?
No, unless you wear glasses normally to read or for everyday life. These would eliminate the need for you to use your glasses inside the headset while playing VR.
I just tried to buy these but my prescription fell out of range on one number. The CYL value which maxes out at -4.00 and my prescription is -4.25 I went through the support and they weren't sure if that would matter. So just asking here for anyone that might know while I wait who knows how long to hear back from my eye doctor.
.25 seems like such a tiny amount that would I even notice? Or perhaps its enormous in lens settings?
I bet it wont' matter.
For me a very small change in the cylinder causes noticeable difference. If it was just the diopter, it wouldn't really matter. I think it should be better to buy the lenses from other makers. I have bought mine from HonsVR, I liked them a lot. But the other ones recommended by the other commenter are really good too.
0.25 is the smallest amount a prescription can change in optics. You should be fine.
appreciate the feedback and I'm bookmarking these services.@@Laughing-Pixels
Don't need an expensive prescription. Do they have a $3.00 magnifier version? $# reading glasses work for me
These lenses sound cool. But... How much are they 😮
What about Europe? Zenni does not seem to ship to Europe ☹️
For now it's USA only, but HonsVR and VR optician are nice alternatives.
@@Laughing-Pixels I ordered from Zenni and I am in England.
Oh I am sorry for spreading misinformation. I tried to select a different country at checkout but it only had the USA on the list. I will try it from a laptop instead.
Edit:
Now I see it, you need to change the country on the bottom of the page. And now it let's you order to Canada, Japan, UK, USA too.
I asked about this on Zenni’s Instagram and they answered:
“The lenses are not available in Europe at this time, but keep an eye out for any changes in the future!”
So, there might be hope for us in Europe 😄
I'd much rather have these than wear my glasses in the headset. It really makes the headset feel whole.
Does the quest 3 comes with the spacer? If not, will I be able to use it while wearing glasses?

How is that possible 💀
wait wdym?
also you can try contacting the company behind the prescription lenses I guess
I'd say try progressive lenses but I'm pretty sure they don't make them although go to an optician and they can give you your correct ipd for the quest that might help a bit
@@meric12131415 progressive lenses vary from top to bottom. That technique doesnt apply here in VR as you are always looking at the same distance. But is that a near distance (as there are close to the eye), or a far distance because the Quest's native lenses are compensating for that.
@@skybex9045 because physics and biology. It's extremely common.
