I'd like to see a video regarding differing dice attributes. We know metal does not tumble like plastic, however what about things like liquid core, resin, etc. in how they roll. Metal dice with round edges? Why is it that metal must have sharp edges? I would think that is a con and not want to advertise it in the advert title. Idk.

I actually just bought a 28mm set, much larger than standard dice but not so big that they're unusable. They look a lot like the original D&D dice, just standard math rocks. I like how visible they make rolls, no leaning over the table to see what you got.

The Salt Water test for balance checking is very flawed; 1: the slightest air-bubble can throw off the result. 2: Water simulates a weightless environment, which is not an environment in which we roll. 3: Any minute flaw that the test reveals, is completely negligible because of real-world factors, such as weight of the dice, surface upon which it is rolled, speed of the dice upon initial contact with the rolling surface, and any barriers, be they intentional (dice rolling tray), or unintentional (game book you placed on the table)... seriously, those factors play more into your final result, than the balance of the dice itself.

To this day, I keep it in a pouch and break it out with a THUD before asking, "Are you sure you want to do that?" Gets a chuckle every time, and never fails to have a new player from pulling a stupid.

You are off base on float testing dice. There are several Internet sources explaining why. Google Dice Mythbusters for additional information.

these are cool! except the mammoth tusk one, how self centered do you have to be to take a finite resource of an extinct animal and think “i should break this apart to use for my hobby”

Wow wouldn’t the mammoth dice 🦣 🎲 be technically be part of the ivory trade? I hope there is paperwork to prove it’s from an extinct species instead of an endangered protected animal 🐘.
