- This beast is called the EZRaider HD4, it's a personal all terrain 4X4 vehicle and don't you dare call it a scooter. Its creators claim its the most capable off-road platform in the world, and the US Armed forces concur, because the $19,2000 EZ Raider just passed an operational evaluation with the special forces, and they're ordering more units.
Mud or sand, rocky peaks or thick backcountry, the all electric, all wheel drive EZRaider provides a unique combination of power, agility, and usability. I recently got the opportunity to go on some clandestine missions myself around my neighborhood, and I can tell you, besides its function as a utility vehicle, it's an absolute blast to ride.

Powered by a 60V - 3000 W/h lithium ion battery pack with an advanced BMS, and equipped with a 4 wheel drive system for extreme off road adventures.
The EZRaider HD4 has four independent 1,200 Watt brushless Hub-motors, and it's 4 matching dedicated Sine-wave Controllers can reach peak outputs up to 18,000W it's more than an electric scooter or off-road scooter. Outfitted with top quality components like chromoly driveshafts and Japanese precision bearings, the powertrain provides instantaneous power and high energy efficiency.
Engineered for stability across diverse terrain, the EZRaider features a patented 6 axes, 360 degree, Floating Long Travel Suspension that can flatten all terrain. In combination with the 4 wheel drive system, and beefy 22 X 7-10 tires, the 10 inches of ground clearance allow an experienced rider to crawl over remarkably challenging surfaces.
Each wheel is equipped with dual piston caliber Hydraulic disc brakes, and you can really feel the strong slowing pull of the regenerative breaking as you let off the accelerator, which takes a bit of getting used to.
Both the US Armed Forces, and the Israeli defense forces are currently performing an operational military evaluation of the EZRaider HD4, and after a series of successful tests, they're in the process of ordering more for different fighting units as a new military vehicle. In combination with the tactical military Tesla cyber truck we envisioned in a previous video, this could be an unstoppable electric combination.
When it comes to useful working applications for the HD4, the possibilities are endless. Along the same vein as its military and defense uses, the EZRaider also makes a fine patrol vehicle for police, border patrol, or even campus security. In fact the Israeli police are already using the EZ RAIDER in its border units. One thing's for certain, as a patrol vehicle, it's not only more capable than a segway.
For more agrarian purposes, the EZRaider makes an excellent ranch vehicle for chasing down cows, hunting, or just simple transportation over rough terrain.

They will buy the dirbikes too, and then let a bunch of stuff sit in warehouses they aren't using until they upgrade it until the new versions and then buy those too. For whatever reason the military is really into buying electric stuff lately.

@@TelmoMonteiro I used to ride dirt bikes and I injured my back on a ride. I was useless. It was almost impossible to get my leg over the seat. To get home, I had to ride up a huge hill. Couldn't do it. Now I could sit on a 4 wheel drive vehicle (though slower) I could have ridden out of there. This thing may be much slower then a motorcycle but so much easier to ride.

You can get the state E vehicle rebates for them is what the price is all about . With rebates in some states they cost around $7990 . But you still have to buy the charger . The battery pack needs to be replaced at insane cost. We are living in a coming age of haves and have nots . There is no getting around it anymore.

Good vid. Im building a version of this style vehicle currently but for a fraction of the cost of this thing. The price tag for these type of electric vehicles will not stay this high for very long in my opinion. Props to the emerging companies that are capitalizing on this rapidly expanding market. Thats my intentions exactly and hoping to spread some knowledge on this technology on my channel in the process. The motor and controller technology hitting the market is going to be responsible for substantial changes in the world to come. Thats a fact!

Often times those that are first die first. To be a successful pioneer is rare. A land littered with them. Secondary companies do succeed though. Unless they bring this price down by 50% they'll die.

You are overlooking reliability and performance in demanding environments does have value and components involved in achieving those goals tend to be more expensive than standard or common levels of product quality and construction.
They'll more than likely lower the price of the chassis and additional components through either larger production runs or just through iterations to make it in a more cost effective way.

It is awesome for off-road, but you can get a nice electric off-road scooter that goes 38MPH for $1800, but scooters are not nearly as good off-road and can't carry as much weight.

Personally I would love this thing. It hits on all the “needs” I have as a single woman, living in a very rural area (more gravel/natural ground) with very little man made surfaces. Additionally I have certain mobility issues where standing is easier than sitting. I believe $20k for something that can cover the number of needs this can is absolutely worth it... I just wish I had the $20k, I wouldn’t hesitate. Awesome and innovative.
Find a used electric wheelchair and find someone that is mechanically inclined and you can find the bigger wheels and tires and have someone make you one. It wouldn’t cost even close to $20,000!
@@broncoman3864 Finding the wheelchair wouldn’t be a problem, but where I live it’s hard to find anyone to just cut grass much less be that motivated and mechanically inclined. It’s a very rural area that’s economically depressed. My father was mechanically inclined, but he’s passed away now, and I regret not getting more of his knowledge while I had the chance… that’s on me. But thank you for the response and idea, I genuinely appreciate it. Doesn’t cost anything to be kind.

I'm pretty sure the company doesn't care about getting money from you. You're not their target market. Governments are because that's where the money is.
There is 8k version for fun and ride, 20k ~top level strong model with all bells and whistles, autonomous mode and 80+ km battery range , pretty much for law enforcers and military purposes… it’s like police swat vehicles that cost 250-300k and being heavy gas guzzlers and very special maintaining process completely useless and worthless for civilians. Pretty sure it will be high demanded for governments and special units, they spend money NOT from their own pockets

I watched this whole video and realized I just watched an entire infomercial lol! I didn’t realize it because I’m a amateur EV builder so the whole time I’m listening for build specs like battery and controller details. Got to the end and thought I got hardly any useful info! Nice video and machine though!
