Oh, heck yes, we've only gone and got the Ironman4x4 Raid Bar for the T60, colour coded it Lava Grey, smashed a tonne of lights on it and called it A1!!
In today's video we're taking a first look at the new ADR Compliant bar for the LDV T60 Max. Released in April 2024, this winch bar was up for pre-sale all the way back in November 2023 and we're glad to finally get it.
As you'll see, the 4x4 adventures were starting to take their toll on the T60's front bumper and this will solve those problems! I hear what you're saying, Ricey, that bar isn't stopping skippy from ploughing through your radiator and ending your trip and I agree!! But the search for a winch compatible, ADR compliant bull bar that doesn't put your front axle weight on the line is damn near impossible!! Hahaha... it does make me cry tho....
Anyways, enough of the small LDV-inspired violin playing, time to check out the bar and hit that subscribe to see more of it in action offroad in the coming videos! Hope you enjoy it!
Let me know in the comments if you see another easter egg in this video from ‪@vicoffroad‬! 👀
Now there's got to be some thankyous for this video.
First one goes out to ‪@noobsoff-road‬ for the car ramps and also, maybe, possibly, recovering me when I high centered the T60 Offroad! Ahhh.. the origin of the thumbnail photo, eh? 😂
Secondly, thanks to ‪@perthadventurefamilies‬ for the gimbal so I can start getting some steady footage. Alternatively, I could wind back the coffee's but y'know.. I can't live without my caffeine!!

Thanks mate! We’re pretty chuffed with how it’s come up!! Although I have already added some classic Dicey Ricey scratches already. 😬😏

Thanks!! It’s a pretty solid little unit and the quality is decent too!
Bit of an off-road confidence booster. 😁

hey bro does it help with the clearance at all?

Solid question and the short answer is Yes.
The long answer is front on the approach is only slightly better due to the curving up of the bar and bash plate. You’ll notice that I’ve bent my number plate because that sits straight down from its mount.
Approaching on angles the clearance has definitely improved with the cut away and up design. You can see at 3:13 this clearly on display as I’ve come down a dune dead straight. The sand is across the marginally improved front but not on the sides.
If you’ve got the time, check out the OFFROAD with the LDV T60 MAX | Scorching Murchison 4X4 Adventure | Off-grid channel announcement! Video at 6:18 and you’ll see the difference between stock clearance and the bar.
      Hope this helps. 😁
