A brand new movie hunting video looking for any rare and out of print blu-rays and Dvds as well as 4K Ultra HDs at Book Off
In the video I walk all around Book Off and give little tour of the store and show all the sections and things for sale. I show some of the steelbooks for sale, The $2.50 Cents Dvds as well and checking out the horror section and the tv and Blu-ray section in the store. - Zábava

They need to revise the show with Rob Gavagan
ECW Remembered They are revising it there's a 12 part reboot coming out and it's going to be a completely different format with each episode being focus on a single mystery and will be shown in a pure documentary style with no host or narrator and it won't be on any tv network on Netflex the first half of the reboot will be able to be stream on July 1 2020.

Book Off definitely has a better selection than their rivals, Go Book Yourself.
@Michael O Callaghan There actually existed a used bookstore in South Korea called, "What the Book?" and there's even a children's bookstore in the UK with that same name 😂

Hey Shawn! New Sub here. Thanks for all the movie reviews and the like. We have a Book Off in Lakewood, Ca. that I am going to go check out tomorrow, Sunday the 21st. Haven't been in there since December '19. Went to my Best Buy in Cerritos yesterday and you were right, they didn't have much out. Only the few newer steelbooks you showed on your Best Buy video from Monday.
Face coverings now mandatory everywhere in public, no matter where you go. I'm going to the Lakewood Best Buy tomorrow as well as Book Off since they are close by.
My first video I saw on your channel was your room tour. Very nice. I'm also sorry to hear about your family Dog, Lulu. As long as you keep her in your heart and memory, she will always be with you. Good to be a part of your channel now and looking forward to other content. Cheers!

I am trying to find the movie “The Girl Most Likely to....” on eBay it’s going for $60 it was written by Joan River and stars a young Stockard Channing and came out in 1973.
I recently found Bad Girls From Valley High and Pretty Persuasion for $5 each the other day. Pretty happy about that, I can replace my old ex-rentals now.

Weekend at Bernie’s 2 is my moms all time favorite movie.
I just bought the Arrow version of Cinema Paradiso during the last sale. They did a great job with the new transfer and included plenty of special features. Definitely worth upgrading to the Arrow version, but wait for the sales because it’ll only be $8.

Book Off seems like a cool place with a lot of stock. Wish there was one near me but it doesn't seem like they have that many locations

Actually been finding a lot of cool stuff lately. Salvation Army was a hit this time. Went on Friday and found 28 Days Later , Lords Of Dogtown , and Sweeney Todd on DVD. Also got A Christmas Story on VHS. Found Wish Upon , 300 , 300 Rise Of A Empire , and The Amazing Spiderman 2 at Dollar Tree. Went to Wal Mart and Truth Or Dare was in the blu ray bin so got that. Also been getting a lot of X Box 360 games.

Never heard of Book Off! Must be our equivalent to Half Price Books!

Not really. You can if youtube picks It up after the fact but it doesnt always work great

Do you own Happiness by Todd Solondz? I was looking into it and couldn’t believe how hard it is to find now! He’s a great director but it seems harder to find his stuff.

Some of the Amityville movies are out of print. Was looking on Amazon for them and the price between 50 to 100 dollars for them. I always go to use game and movies store to look for them

I love 25th Hour. One of his best. Own it on dvd. Cursed is a fun movie. I have the double Waxworks dvd.
I agree such a great film.
Shawn, the Star Wars sets for the Theatrical versions were only released in VHS sets in 1995. They released them also on the THX Laserdiscs in that same year. The DVDs of them were an added bonus on the 2004 DVD release set of IV/V/VI. The quality of those were awful and I believe they were made that way intentionally. Those silver and gold sets are the Special Edition ones.
The recent 4K releases of IV, V, VI are the ones to get now. I believe they are the best you are going to see them in any format.
Personally, I do not believe Disney is ever going to release the original Theatrical releases again if George has anything to say about it.
I have been a fan of SW since day 1, that being May 25, 1977. I saw it at a 1 screen walk in theater for $2.50.
I always do wonder why hey hate those original versions so much lol. I do really hate though when a movie has to keep making so many changes to a film

McKay's Used Books in Manassas, VA has wayyy cheaper prices. But I'd admit they don't have near as many movies as this place.

I go to goodwills and salvation armys and flea markets over here in chicago and the good will opened up and guess what I found.....2 complete trilogy limited edition (theatrical cut versions) star wars with the slip and everything I was blown away by that.

Hey man I was also at Book-Off but on Friday and I also did a video:) I only got cd's and a book:) I love Requiem For A Dream and American Psycho:) The Gingerbread Man is a really good film, it's not a horror film, don't know why it's in the horror section:) I've got the Star Wars box set:)Dude I have Magic but on dvd:) I aways enjoy Congo also:) I have the Arrow Cinema Paradiso:)

There's actually three Brady Bunch films. The third was a made for tv movie with a recast of the kids.
I usually find some good cheap graphic novels too, my problem with Book Off is they overprice the used Blurays way too much.

I have no issue paying what an OOP blu is worth if I’m not getting overcharged. I don’t buy to flip though since I’m def collector. That said, if I can get a deal I won’t complain!

$35 is insane for USED with no slipcover or digital. I bought the 4K new w/ slip at Walmart recently for $14.96
Yeah, exactly. I wouldn't have paid that price, even if it wasn't used. It's not like 'Knives Out, is rare/OOP.

Ya they are in a handful of states but not a lot., I know they have a store in New York

just the steelbook version. You can get a copy on Ebay for $35-ish. I got it for Christmas one year and it's still unopened lol not a big fan of the artwork.
I think the steelbook version is out of print .Im not sure though if the stand blu-ray is out of print as well

Dude you should be wearing gloves in a bookoff. Imagine how many others do what you do and pull out every movie they are looking at to see prices. I where gloves in bookoffs.
Im sanitizing my hands like crazy so am very careful
I never wear gloves and with a mask it reminds you not to touch your face and just sanitize once outside

I liked Mannequin 2 better too! Count Spretzo slapping the henchmen in every scene is great!!

It seems that all 3D discs went OOP in the U.S.
I've noticed that to I wonder why. I started getting them got amazing spiderman 2 and jack the giant slayer on 3d for 2 bucks with slips.
