I picked up Smite after Infinite Crisis closed down (RIP) and I needed a new MOBA to fill the void. I'd told myself I'd only play Smite after they added Flying Spaghetti Monster, and I'm still waiting for him, but I'm glad I joined Smite. Little fun fact: I've been playing Smite for over 3 and a half years now, and in that time, Zhong Kui has only received one skin.
I don't play Smite anymore, but I played since the end of the closed beta (started in the same week Bakasura was released). Still remember so many old stuff. Allowed to use both physical and magical items for all gods (I remember having my first Quad-kill with Ymir stacking physical power, for the stun and power-punch combination). Buffs that stacked. The jungle. Domination (although very unbalanced, which is why it was removed, it was still one of my favorite gamemodes to play sometimes). Playing against original Cerberus during practice matches. As for old gods: Arachne with her hook ult through walls, so satisfying to hit; Nu Wa with her electric cage and crystals; original Sun Wukong with its fireworks ultimate; ah, the nostalgia. Great video as always Inuki. I may not play Smite anymore, I still watch your Top 5 videos, and most of Smite's videos (i.e. Drunken mythology; new god reveals, etc.) every time. Keep it up!
I started playing on March 2014, just a few weeks before the beta ended. Good old times. That smite was the best ever made, no doubt about it. I never thought that a game like this would keep me playing to this day
A couple days ago i watched a season 1 conquest game on dmbrandon's channel. It was the map when i was getting into conquest. Love that map, love the season 5 to current day map as well. Stay original with smite guys, you can cash grab on other genres, i don't care. Keep treating smite as your main game because people love to be a part of original stuff. There aren't many games i keep going back to. SMITE is definitely one. Legendary game.

I can still remember playing that mode on the egypt map with the three sand-guardians. Which was basically capture and hold. I forgot the name of the Mode but it used to be my favourite. Ultimately stopped playing shortly after it was removed.

Been playing since Beta.. sadly didnt play much on PC. Got the beta on Xbox (took almost 2 years off of smite) Regardless... great game. No matter how toxic and rage inducing the game is with the luck and the mechanics and some bs... it's still fun and always managing to bringing people back. Happy Birthday!!!

A few things I remember was nu wa’s old kit where her fog would follow her, she could have 5 clay minions, her 3 was a flame pillar that could actually hit and stun towers and Phoenix, and her old ult that ganesha has. There was also Bastet’s old look where she just looked like a bipedal cat and her passive where she got reduced respawn timer for her first 9 deaths

Edit: i have him with 2 stars, i would like hi-rez add retro gods' skins to smite for SMITE Birthday, it would bring nostalgia to some or all veteran Players who played in Beta, s1-s2 like me, but my Account was deleted for some reason i didn't know but in January 9th of 2018 i made a new Account i started playing again, I bought kukulkan just for can use sacred dragon skin and remember old times, still playing, but i wish if hi-rez could add retro skins like Hades, nu wa ones, i think SMITE will live for so long Time.
