I tried wrapping my top handle (Kondor Blue, also😄) with leather strip (that's already laying around, from my knife lanyard making project), and WOW, that made a huge difference !
I didn't realize until I tried this how the handle was slippery, and I was unconsciously adding more and more gripping force...

Great video Cam! I tried the 7" RED monitor with the KX and it was WAY too big on that size camera for my liking. I hope they come out with a 5" version. Not needing extra batteries for a monitor was amazing as well as less cable clutter. 👍
yeah I think when they come out with a 5 inch ill cop that. I just love 7 inch for anamorphic shooting
Has kondor blue released this baseplate yet? I found the side load one but nothing about it being height adjustable.

I feel like for CZcams content most influencers keep their video content more mid range as brooo everything is expensive lol so most videographers use mirror less cameras or mid range I don’t see more established cinematographers watching CZcams content as these cameras are merely crash cams but your content is great you are influencing me to buy you and Ky, but I can see where it gets boring everyone doing the same content I do learn a lot from you, it’s refreshing! All these cameras for CZcams and client work is over kill! You shot you best quality and CZcams turn your 2gb render into 100 mb

I really dig what the guys at Kondor Blue are doing, however, I tried the Ignite Digi keystone cage both the full with the top plate and handle and chopped with the red compact handle and I can't recommend it enough especially with the power and ext breakout and rod mounts and how it all adds weight and form the Komodo/X for both handheld and ronin 2 work, it becomes the same size as an Alexa Mini with a lot of mounting points...it's expensive but totally worth it.
That cage build is a little to hefty for my needs. Would get in my way for majority of my shoots honestly. I like things to be as tight and compact as possible so I can stay nimble. I imagine for bigger team shoots tho its amazing for rigging the hell out of the KX

I'm not a cinema guy. Could you talk a little more about the PL adapter? That is the only way to get a variable ND between the lens and camera? Is PL adapter only for EF or can you adapt for RF Canon glasses?

I see you have the Dulens lens, do you have the whole set and saw you have the Dulens Projector as well. How do you like the Dulens Lenses. Tried to see if you had a video reviewing those bc wanted to see your thoughts. I’ve seen a few other CZcamsrs have them but no video on their thoughts on them.

Where’d you find that Kondor Blue baseplate thing? I’ve been looking for one for my OG Komodo + Atlas Mercury that should ship soon / didn’t see that one on their website - the Mercury are only 2-3 pounds so maybe I’m just paranoid, but I want to get a lens support on my rig. Great video as always 🤝

Just good old spray paint. One, I’m pretentious. Two, a lot of times my friends and I work together and we all have the same gear so jsut helps identify them apart.
