Pretty decent mod, it's interesting that it showcases animations that the base game does not have, yet also reuses animations from the main dev kit, like the Mac-10 being a reskinned MP7, yet the Desert Eagle and AKS-74U have their own, unique animations with decent quality.

@@angusdelaney905 eh, it's debatable that CoD started it, it simply brought light back to it. There were older games that had pretty solid details even in the 90s. Some shooters even had bullet counting, and mag top offs as early as 2005.

Limitation of the mod if I had to guess. The modder that made this owns like 80% of the mods on steam workshop, if I had to guess, he's still working out the dev tools. Which also explains the nonexistent bolt release on the Mac-10, that this mod magically has, which is reusing the base game's MP7 silhouette and animations.

The foley timing and mixing is pretty poor on some guns. heres hoping the audio guy can splice them a little more so it saves time adjusting

The game? Nothing lmao. The devs just made the basic (trash btw) game and than gave away modding tools to everyone so the modders make the actual content for the game 😂

You ever heard of different magazines son? The AA-12 can fit both 20 round drums AND 8 round box mags. Who's to say you can't get a 5 round mag for an AMW?
Yeah though this is a custom modded faction, and it uses animations from vanilla weapons, such as for the L96A1 using M40A1 animations (that's also why it uses 5 rounds)
This is what I wish mw 2022 recoil was just it had a little bit more recoil here and not how it was in the actual where the recoil was fucking insane in mw 2022
MW2 has fake recoil. Gun and red dot bounces around all over the place (visual recoil) but the actual pattern is piss easy to get down and mild. Combined with shit visibility and all the clutter and you get an unbearable shooting.

@@ELIASREXZERO The opinion of those guys doesnt matter. Real life guns dont even act like games such as MW2 or Escape from Tarkov show. Also visual recoil is a trash mechanic that many games removed/straight up didnt have. Its fake recoil and only adds artificial difficulty to the game by making you miss shots that you shouldnt miss. All the gas, camera shake and fire effects only add artificial difficulty and guns dont even act like that.

wish the game was stable, and had SOME anti cheat, but it's poorly made. And just because it's in early access, doesn't mean it's good for what it is, if you release an almost unplayable game with as many issues as it has (performance, cheaters, etc.) It's not gonna be gun for anyone except for the cheaters

@@mercenarygundam1487 yes, but the AI is kinda jank, and very basic. With that said, the criticism the game gets is misplaced considering the game we got is exactly what BlueDrake said we'd get. It's meant to pretty bare bones, so modders can add what they want, instead of a dev team doing whatever they want and pissing fans off. All the tools are there for people to make their own mods, and the concept is very easy even for a noob like me that hasn't modded a day in his life. I'd recommend waiting to seriously play it for a bit, until they roll out easy anti cheat or fix AI.
But to be fair, even anti-cheat won't help. Games like Arma, Squad, and Apex legends don't even have dedicated anti-cheat, it's either hosted servers that watch the gameplay, or dedicated people that watch player and recaps of vids, which is why those games don't have many cheaters. Anti-cheat is kinda garbage.
What can u expect from an early access game, it's not gonna be the same after it's out

Like Squad, these errors show that whoever decided on it had no idea what they're doing. That's not something you can fix.

I use OWI as example because it fits perfectly. OHDS is meant to do what Squad failed, not tread its footsteps exactly. OHDS did so well without bad modders who can't even figure out what gun is called.
This isn't about OHDS, this is about incompetent devs; unless you like to associate OHDS with incompetent devs I suggest you stfu and just learn something.
Indie projects fail because incompetent devs promised too much and ended up not being able to deliver anything worthwhile. You are indeed part of the problem because you protect that kind of pompous behavior.
Dum CoD players don't know any better. Just check out the AK-47 in CoD MW2019 campaign. They called it AK-12 cuz it has an AK-12 grip 😂
Very nice animations, way better than those crappy ones from MW2 or EFT or even Insurgency Sandstorm.
