20kN Moving Body Mechanical Wedge Grips

The 20kN Moving Body Wedge Grips are used for tensile testing on hard plastic and soft metals like Aluminum. These wedge grips are called moving body wedge grips because the jaws will maintain their relative position to the grip body throughout the test. This is ideal when using clip-on Extensometers. The jaws on regular wedge grips will slide inside the grip body and will affect the Extensometer measurements. These grips can also be pre-tightened by cranking down on rotary handle.
