  • FINALLY! No more monster truck fitment! I drove out to Parts Score in Scottsdale, AZ to have the KW H.A.S kit and Macht Schnell spacers installed on the G87. This is by far the most drastic change to the M2 so far. It looks incredible! I hope that I was able to relay some helpful tips that will save you time and money in the long run!
    Big thank you to Parts Score for helping with the installation and also a MASSIVE thank you to @toyryde on IG for some amazing shots of the car!

    PSI also noted there is a lot more room under the fenders in the G87 compared to the G80 and G82. That's good news. The added stiffness and lower center of gravity should also improve its handling.

      Yeah 100%. I actually took the M2 on a mountain run yesterday and it felt almost better than it did the first time I ran it on the mountain. Super impressed with it!

    That is a very nice setup! I am in the market for a new car within this price range and this definitely hits the spot❤

    What specific chances in the handling performance (for better or rose) of the car (if any) did you experience? Your setup looks very clean.

    How much negative camber does this set up have compared to the stock specs ?

  • @kentao4

    Im really wrestling with this on the m3. I’m outside of Philly and the roads can get pretty beat up so I want to retain as much as possible in terms of comfort. I can live with the back but the front needs to come down so I’m still considering just the eibach springs.

    • @tuxon_speed
      @tuxon_speed  Před rokem

      For me the Eibach springs weren’t enough. As long as you don’t do 20inch wheels in the front you should be fine with height adjustable springs

    • @kentao4
      @kentao4 Před rokem

      @@tuxon_speed i get it. For winter, I’m just going to look into another oem set with winter tires. Don’t want to have to change up much. I probably wouldn’t switch up my height much if at all. Thanks for the perspective

    Your car looks awesome lowered and can't wait to see new wheels. I'm looking at wheels for my G80 and torn with 20/20 combo. If you could do over would you have left 19's on your front? Is the ride quality that drastic with 20's? I have MSS springs on my car.

    • @tuxon_speed
      @tuxon_speed  Před rokem +1

      Hey man thanks for commenting!
      To your point, if I could go back I would 100% stick with the 19/20 set up. The 20/20 setup looks amazing but it changes the ride quality so much that for me, it isn’t worth it.

    • @jonathanrobertson1350
      @jonathanrobertson1350 Před rokem +1

      Thanks for being honest, some people say it did not change their ride. Backbto the drawing board...lol

    • @Jaybrn
      @Jaybrn Před rokem

      Thank you for sharing that! So helpful to hear this and will consider this info plus a forged 19” extra light weight in front may even further improve ride quality vs 20s all around.

    How many mms is it lowered?

  • @TopherHax
    @TopherHax Před rokem +1

    So how is the handling affected? Usually lowering cars produces a negative effect on handling dynamics.

    • @tuxon_speed
      @tuxon_speed  Před rokem

      I haven’t noticed anything negative. I pushed it hard yesterday on some mountain road and if felt really good. Definitely more planted feeling than stock.

  • @videogazer801
    @videogazer801 Před rokem +1

    Would 18’ for the new M2? Yum trying to get a softer ride and cut weight as well

    • @tuxon_speed
      @tuxon_speed  Před rokem +1

      You can definitely do 18's, I was actually looking at some BBS's that only come as big as 18's.

    I would probably go 2cm and try to retain the comfort ride as much as I can. The wife will be driving it. She would not be happy if it's get too rough.
