This is a magnificent CD. Two exceptional voices combined with the magic that William Christie brings to each project. The rarity of this music only adds to its charm. I return to this CD more often than I’d like to admit ;))
They sound so beautiful together.

Positivement *exceptionnel* ! Les duos de contre-ténors (ou contre-ténor & soprano, comme dans *Sosarme*) sont fascinants -- et demandent aux artistes une grande sensibilité mélodique, une musicalité hors du commun...
Comme le disait Pelletier, c'est « un peu de bon Dieu qui entre dans votre âme par les oreilles ».

I wished they showed on the video a little bit of the song "Tirsi e Fileno" but they don't.
I wish they'd performed the whole CD ;)) But Tirsi e Fileno is particularly beautiful. To me, it's the highlight of the CD
Philipp Jaroussky one of the stars in Handel´s "Alcina" performed in Aix-de- Provence together with Toelzer boy soloists in the role of "Oberto". I have a recording of the tv-broadcasting...:)))

I love both of them. Jaroussky obviously has a higher voice, no argument there. But w/ regards to quality, Cencic has the upper hand... :-)
