You're an inspiration to me. My family and I were also refugees from Vietnam. I was too young to remember but was always reminded by my father what we went through which shaped me to become who I am as a person today. I also faced racism growing up which made me feel embarrassed to be Asian. The world would be a better place with more people like you and less hateful racist Trump lovers.

answering Tu's question, i live for honor. i bring my family honor. i make my god proud. i remind the devil every time he says i cannot weather the storm, that i am the storm. i have taken up the samurai code, the code of my ancestors. as my grandfather, i will always choose to do the right thing regardless of whether society wills it. i am saddened by the fact that my being christian would be looked at as shame if my family went back to japan after our generations of living elsewhere. i myself don't look as asian as my great grandparents, my parents are only half japanese and my father was american. i might not be samurai, but i sure love the code. jesus comes first, family comes second, honor follows them. i will live every day until i die. Tu, your stories have inspired me. Shown me purpose, and reminded me of my code. I will continue to be inspired as you speak more in the future.

Tu mentions God in his speech, is he Christian? Just curious as there is also alot of Eastern ideology in his training/business.
I believe he is referring to a universal force/entity...what some refer to as “Source,” “Creator,” and “The One who has all the answers.”
The word, God, is used by other religions and spiritual paths for simplicity’s sake when communicating with others especially if they live in the western part of the world.
Whoever you're worship that's your God!?!
