  • In this video I show how to program the fuel injectors into the BMW engine computer. I chose to use the Launch BMW Elite V2 in order to showcase its factory type capabilities in an inexpensive package.
    The tool can be purchased here :

    To see many of the capabilities check out the review I did here:

    It’s astounding that such a value-priced tool has so many important features. Seems to operate quickly, too!

    I am assuming you get a fault light if the fuel injectors are not programmed correctly?
    Will this also work on the BMW N57 diesel engine?

    • @DTEAuto
      @DTEAuto  Před 23 dny

      Yes it should also work on that N57

    Great video! Btw maybe will know what's the problem: I have a 3 liter diesel bmw with m57d30 engine, driving above 1k rpm - everything is okay, power and torque is great when giving it some beans, but when it's left on idle - it's running rough, rpms keep jumping +-100 rpm. There are no codes, not even a check engine light (it works, tho), injectors were tested, all filters changed, crankcase breather - they're in good condition, working properly. What could be the problem? Is there a chance fuel rail pressure sensor went bad or something like that?

      I wouldn't think the rail sensor would cause an issue like that. I would think maybe check for clogged up intake ports, as that is not something that's "truly" monitored and can cause drivability issues because it will affect the amount of air ingested

    What other differences does the creader elite v2 have compared to it’s predecessor

    • @DTEAuto
      @DTEAuto  Před 6 měsíci +3

      looks like the capabilities of all the oem functions are still there, it seems to be just improved version with the self power up if need to look for reports without being connected to a vehicle, the obd cable detaches, the software seems a little more responsive than the last and faster
