    Wow, the police are taking the p@ss. The reason why we've had 8,000 bikes stolen is because you have done nothing to prevent it. This is not good enough, we need you to crackdown on it whatever it takes. No amount of chains or disc locks is going to stop your bike being stolen. And the police have done nothing to prevent it. What a disgrace of a police force, 8,000 is an absolute disgrace.

    so I guess the simple solution is to setup bait scooters with one slight alteration to the usual bait scenario. This time, underneath the moped seat will be a set of knifes that get shot upwards into the thief's bum hole.

      Just use an airbag, it'll send them 10 feet in the air in half a second, no chance they will be stealing bikes or fleeing the scene with a few compressed spinal discs

    Get rid of the criminals instead. How about that? Even if the bikes / scooters were left unlocked and keys in them nobody has the right to take those.
    Minimum penalty for vehicle theft 5 years. Vehicle jacking (if that's the term) 8 years minimum. That should be a good start.

Most of the poor of our native population is being caused by the race to the bottom that comes with importing foreign workers. Modern Slavery exists in Britain primarily in Labour voting areas where they turn a blind eye to it.

Anytime the chain is against a stationary surface, ideally a very hard one, like the road, it makes it a lot easier for crims to attack. It's just the city setting people up to be vulnerable against pro thiefs. It might also help if citizens had more respect for law enforcement...they need to work on that, too, I think.

    The police are right, 2 chains, like this you can chain there wrists and ankles when you through em in the river. When we bikers start taking the law into our own hands and doing the polices job, then they will pay attention. Till then no pursuit, no helmet and other shit just lets them sit there and eat do-nuts. Society will act at that point, problems going to be the innocent bikers that finally stood up will get the shit. On the plus side do it enough and there will be no more bike thefts, just may need to dredge the river out as it will end up rather full!

    A few things worth noting;
    1. Motorbikes are cooler.
    (get a motorbike)
    2. Maybe ask some of the rougher Motorcyle Clubs to "talk" to these scooter idiots?
    3. Pay attention to your surroundings (ESPECIALLY when ANYWHERE near a road of any kind or other people.)
    By doing this you'll reduce your risk of getting run over, running someone one over, or getting mugged like the dude on his phone.
    4. Never leave any personal possession unattended/unprotected.
    Mobiles, jewelry, cars, bikes, food and drink or even dogs.
    5. If you find yourself in a position where someone is trying to steal the bike while you're on it, let them on it and push them off as soon as they try to get away.
    6. Get a gps tracker installed
    Its like indicating when you're a motorist. You should ALWAYS do it. Even when nobody is there, its not a bad habit.

A thief can cut the chain but the bike is still immobile because the D lock is stopping the wheel from turning. I back the chain up with an alarm disk lock as well.

What you need is the head of police to come on TV and say if you steal bikes we will no longer drop back when you throw your helmet we will knock you off and if you get hurt or killed that's your choice we will not prosecute our officers for doing so. These days if a innocent sweet young man happens to get hurt riding a stolen scooter police have to worry they will lose their jobs. This is creating vigilante's and that will end badly

    Two things here a locking system via electronic keypad which immobilises the ignition where a pin number has to be entered every time before engine starts disconnecting or damaging system will prevent engine from starting. even if you know what you are doing and have right equipment would take maybe 10-15 minutes so bike could be lifted and taken away after lock cut but not driven away. Or an rfid chip as on car ignition systems built into
    key so only correct key works to start even if steering lock broken again big
    delay and no drive away. All bikes fitted with GPS tracker with own internal
    battery so can be tracked like low-jack system on cars. The cost of this would
    halve the insurance on bike as cutting risk of loss by a very high amount.

    Scooters are stolen because it’s easy and there is no deterrent, the only time the police get involved would be to arrest the owner for assault while trying to stop his property being stolen.

  • @siriosstar4789

    Security is not the main problem . the biggest problem is not having laws that allow the owner/s to retaliate without being sued by the thieves . The thieves have to become frightened of the public and the public must be allowed to protect their property without repercussions . And don't give me the youcant take the law into your own hands crap . If the thieves know they are risking extreme pain if they steal , the numbers of these crimes will diminish overnight .

  • @Noexcusis
    @Noexcusis Před rokem

    The way to make the criminals think twice is with exploding seat or grips or other parts if they want the bike they will think twice if they are going to have a part of the bike explode 😜

    Such a Typically British infomercial. It’s your fault your bike was stolen. Ha! We won’t do anything about it. We’re too busy raking in revenue from motorists to give a shit. Why would we introduce stiffer penalties? We can just get it back when its dumped and then wait a week to let you know we’ve had it, so then you can pay us the surcharge for us keeping it in lockup. Easy 200 quid. Crime pays, people.
