The Jawa 42 2.1 has been launched and it came with a host of new features like a better seat better Suspension and also a set of new colours that will enhance the overall Appeal of the motorcycle and attract new customers to the brand
the Jawa 42 2.1 has always been an interesting motorcycle for me it performs very differently from any other motorcycle in the segment it had an extremely potent 300 CC engine which produces the highest amount of peak torque and its segment and also had a great chassis to balance the power.
The segment has otherwise the long-stroke engine and java 42 busy only motorcycle with a shot a stroke engine which produces a very hard I am out of stock and office short caring and precise handling inputs
as previously stated that Jawa 42 is a brilliant bike and a lot of people would be happy with the motorcycle after the ownership experience and video on the process we are now going to discuss all the issues and problems that you can face with Java 42 has all the old issues been resolved is the bike more reliable now can you go ahead and by the motorcycle and does it have a good future?
All of these questions will be answered and before that, the Jawa 42 comes with a lot of accessories from the company itself we have an option to choose the alloy wheels you also can get a new windscreen and also there is a headlight protector with the by the roll the other aftermarket exhaust and other accessories that you can add to the motorcycle to make it unique
Jawa 42 has always had a higher top speed than any other motorcycle in the segment because of its potent engine and shorter stroke this is not a relaxed motor by any means and it can be used for touring and also can be used for occasional City rights to this bike remains a very practical and a good motorcycle but not all bikes are perfect and all bikes are the room set of problems and advantages so now today we're going to discuss and all the problems so stay tuned.

Am using a Jawa 42 for 2 years now, without issues. Am also an Engineer and seen so many bikes thro a riding span of 30 years.the problems highlighted are there in most Indian bikes, there is no ideal bike. Tweak the bike as per Ur requirements. 👍
Bro any rusting you noticed? I see somany videos about rusting within 2 to 3 months itself. From disk break, bolts, under fuel cap, swing arm areas, peeling off engine paint, rust inside exhaust exhaust pipe etc that we cant expect from a 2 lakh motorcycle. Have you faced anyof these issue? I have plan to own one. Pls reply.

Even the company don't provide the warranty and I have faced the Rusting and Corrosion problem.Thats why I have forced to file the consumer court case against the Classic Legends and the Jawa Jodhpur dealer
I own a jawa, couple of issues he highlighted such as ground clearance, clearance is proper there would be no harm to engine, the main stand is what that touched the bumps on the road. There is nothing to worry
Additionally, the other issues highlighted is pretty nominal and petty.
Take a test ride before buying one. Only 2-3 issues stated were genuine, others were just subjective ones that would not affect you in the long run.

One more comment after watching full video.
The engine do not heat after 1st service.
The seat is good for 150km traveling without butt pain.
The chain and braking sound is not there.
The halogen light is good but I switched to led projector as everyone do it anyway.
The gear shifting is not a issue after you ride the bike for 1 month. You get used to it.
The suspension is way too good you have to lower the tyre air pressure. It's 23 in front and 30 in back. With this it's so much comfortable and you will never feel any bump.
The vibration are almost zero.
The service centers are available everywhere in current date.
Do not listen to him. Ride a jawa 42 2.1 once and you will forget RE and other classics.

I have faced all the problems and due to the poor paint quality,paint peel off problem and due to the Rusting and due to the poor After Sales Service.I have already filled the Case in Consumer Court Case against the Classic Legends and the Jawa dealer
I am riding Jawa for 8 months now.
I am just fed up with two things.
1. It feels like there is no suspension at all. Even a little bump gives so much pain in the body.
2. Bike suddenly gets off at low speed even if you're on 1st gear.
It has literally given me a lot of trouble.

The biggest thing i feel is that Jawa does not have a long stroke motor like the enfield which makes the gearing so short you have to drop down the gear as soon as you decrease the speed.

This short gearing is not at all an issue...if you have ever used a 4 stroke machine (RX100/Suzuki Samurai) you now how to use ....also with Jawa you can cruse in lower speeds (40/50s) in 4th or 5th gear and the bike don't lag a bit....Enfield is just midrange bike between 60-80 and 4th and 5th gear....
The vibrations part on higher rpm is not a con but a mechanical thing and its intentional. If you rode honda highness, you will know its engine is natureless with no vibration. Its like riding an EV bike. So some vibrations are necessary so that you can feel that, yes you are riding a motorcycle and not a souless honda machine.

Short gearing can be truly hectic in city thanks for sharing ...I have Yuga which is commuter bike but bad thing is even that has short gearing ..only yamaha commuter bikes are good in gearing in city
The bike may some cons but you shouldn't have degraded the bike as you did in the thumbnail and you won't understand the best qualities of this bike now . You'll know it later on as people say so..!💯

I own a 42 2.1.
Few of the issues are genuine like rear brake noise. Sudden "shut off" of running engine. Poor Paint quality; peeling off. Engine malfunction light gets on. Few of the bikes have engine and chain noise. I really wonder why Jawa officials donot take care of these major ptoblems.
Rest of the issues mentioned, are just nitpicking. Ground clearance is not an issue in normal road use, just increase the suspension stiffness by one slot. Any high capacity bike cannot have ground clearance like a 100 cc bike.
Handling of the bike is very good. One will really enjoy riding this bike.
I agree, Jawa should take care of the issues to sustain in long term.

Let me clarify regarding ground clearance
When I was testing the bike with the same pillion, I found the Jawa to have a lower ground clearance then other bikes like meteor and CB 350 which are in the same segment.. The suspension was already set at the stiffer side.. So that is the reason I mentioned it in the video.

Guys personal experience. I own an Interceptor 650, Jawa 42 and classic 350. The best thing about RE is the gearing, you can cruise at speed and even if you decrease speed, you need not downshift. But in Jawa you have to be accurate and sometimes irritatingly change gears often. But the seating and riding position is better in Jawa, it’s damn comfortable.
Interceptor 650 has the smoothest, butter gearbox. It is even better than Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki etc. Never experienced such beautiful gearbox.
But at the end the most near perfect and best in everything is Classic 350. Riding, comfort, cruising, respect, swag, maintenance, accessibility, accessories etc etc. Classic 350 is clear winner.
Become old and now a days everybody is owining it...
Jawa is not a serious bike just an experiment

@@autocritic Needs a Daily commuter, sometimes with the pillion. Longest rides for 140 kms up and down max. Looks and exhaust sound matters. So Confused between these two, otherwise would have gone with highness ( an alpha bike but with not much looks ).

Anindya sir, both classic 350 and Jawa 42 are not very reliable.. But classic 350 has better aftersales and service and has been in the market for long and is more comfortable in the city for rider and pillion... Request you to wait for new classic 350 which could be launched in next two months.. Will keep you updated

Bhai Maine meteors check kara. Meteors muje pasand nai Cz I am not a good fan of thunderbird . Agar purana wala 350x hota to I would go with RE. Now comes, Hness and Jawa. Test drive dono ka liya. Ground clearance almost same tha. Even Jawa 42 2.1 m inhone engine guard b diya h for safety. Apart from this, driving bahut comfortable laga Jawa m. Might be seating position or something else. But yes Jawa 42 2.1 becomes my first choice. Now again after watching this video, I came in dilemma

Hi ! I got myself a Jawa 42 2.1 around 15 days ago. Rode approx 270 km on it. However I am feeling vibrations on handlebar after 60kmph. Also the engine feels strained after 60kmph. Is it because it is new or is there a problem with my unit ? Any solutions to this would be helpful.
Problem will be solved once your first service is done
I face vibration at 90! By strain if you mean it's not going fast, keep 5th gear on 60, that's how the gears are! Then you will fell the power at 90-110 in 6th gear, which is very impressive!

Choudhury sir, For 55 to 60 km daily the seat would cause some butt pain and suspension is stiff so if roads are bad it could be tiring sometimes.. Mileage will be low on this bike sir.. It can give you below 35 sometimes if ridden aggressively.. Wont give more than 37 or 38

@@chintamanigaikwad3505 The back break sound is because of faulty rear break pads that comes in stock..i have changed them and then the breaking is so much reliable now. The bike is so gud compared to many in the market in this price range

ITS A WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND EMOTIONS, ITS BEEN HARDLY 2 YEARS RIDING THIS BIKE, ITS FUEL PUMP, electrical items, spare parts becomes out of order any time between your important rides, when the tyre gets punctured, no local mechanic will repair and you have to visit services centre only, you will suffer a lot, spare parts are too much costly, it seems they are trying to stand in the queue in the cruiser bikes by marketting and making spares cost extremely high for recovering manufacturing costs
how is the after sale service and parts availability?
I have come across such a channel on CZcams which spreads negative reviews on every popular bike for this reason or that. The channel owner might be on some eternal spiritual quest of perfect bike which is just a mirage at the end.
Sir please suggest me: cruiser bikes are good or bad for those having back pain.. Specially in bad road conditions
Bro koi bhi cruiser bike lelo you do need to change the seat with off market mods. Kisi bhi bike ki touring seat 1500-2500 mei aaram se bann jati hai so bike lene ke 1-2months baad aap seat change krva sktey ho.
I personally rode meteor and that seat is not good for pillion but jawa seat is quite comfortable for pillion as compared to the meteor.

Do the maths- it has 165 mm ground clearance that is about approx 5 mm less than RE meteor. There is no way the ground touches the engine( such a stupid review). The ground touches the middle stand if you have it or if you try to zoom pass an elevated ground or stop breaker. This is a Cruze bike and must not be compared with off roading bike. I have this bike for over 1 year and never faced any major issues.

U r 💯 percent true bro I am an automobile engineer the day I took test ride I made it up its a great scrap bakwas brand old jawa and yezdi fantastic lovely legends i purchased yamaha R15 version 3 bs4 giving me a good mileage of 50 plus and very less maintenance no vibration even after 150+ 👌😎👍

Acha mujhe to kabhi nahi pata aisi kisi issue ka. Main bhi bohot samay se use jawa chala raha hu. Bhai ye jo issues aati hai mandatory nahi hai ki har bike me ayengi. Aur aap jaisa bol rahe hai aisa nahi jawa k mechanics bohot samay se try kar rahe hai thik nahi kar pa rahe hai aisa bilkul nahi hai. Mujhe aajtak jo koi bhi samasya aayi wo resolve kar di gayi aur service bhi badhiya hai.

After you last night video regarding splashing of muds and water ij cb350 rs in rainy season i discarded the idea of buying rs. Even you mentioned the same problem.was also there with h'ness then what will be the good bike in the 350 cc segment..my personal choice is honda, other than that royal Enfield not so confident about jawa. So can you please help

Both bikes are absolutely amazing and you won't regret your decision at all.. If your heart is towards honda just go for it eyes closed.. I have a jawa 42 2.1 and it touches with a pillion if you don't slow down on bump or speedbreakers. If you slow down it won't touch. I think it's not a big issue at all as you can change main stand after 3 4 years.
The pros are the bike is faster, looks way too sexy, mileage is good, braking is too good, comfort is good, if you do little db killer settings the sound you get is just awesome.
So I don't think your video is valid for saying do not buy jawa.
Tbh Jo maza isko chalane me ata hai wo kisime nahi.
RE or a AUDI everyone look back at this bike.
So only for ground clearance issue its wrong to say do not buy jawa. 🤣
You can also fix the ground clearance issue with some settings.
The 1st thing is it's not a big issue and I don't mind having it.
