2009 Western Conference Finals Game 3, May 23, 2009 | One of my favorite playoff performances by Kobe. There was uncertainty with the Lakers after they lost game 2 at home to go to Denver, one of the toughest places to play for opposing teams, in a tied series. Kobe had that look all night long and you knew he was all business from the opening jump. He poured in 41 points, none bigger than his dagger three over JR Smith to put the Lakers up 1 with just over a minute remaining. The Lakers wouldn't look back after that three, ending the game on a 10-2 run to win the game and take back the series lead at 2-1.

The gauntlet that Kobe and the Lakers had to run through in the West every year was remarkable. Kobe was beyond clutch, big shots in big moments and never shied away from the FT line at the end of the game.
2009 playoff kobe was a monster. This is easily his best playoff year individually (because as team 2000s 15-1 playoff run was insane). Just absolutely dominated everyone.

Kobe never took days off and has battled multiple injuries throughout his career. (The most famous one was when he won a NBA title with a broken finger!! Amazing!!) There will never be another Kobe Bryant. We witness something special for these past 20 years of Kobe's career.
