【Lake Garda】Go by car to the largest Lake in Italy ｜【加爾達湖】最美意大利北部湖區小城

During the 4-nights’ holiday in Lake Garda(加爾達湖), we have visited several beautiful towns. Nago Torbole (納戈－托爾博萊) could be used as a base to explore Malcesine(馬爾切西內), Sirmione (西米歐尼)and Rovereto(羅韋雷托).
Malcesine is a charming old town with narrow medieval streets, a beautiful harbour, as well as plenty of small shops and cafes. Sirmione on the southern bank is known for Rocca Scaligera, a medieval castle overlooking the lake. Rovereto, not only a city of culture, is also known as the City of Peace. There is a large memorial bell named Campana dei Caduti that stands on the hillside. The bell is made with the melted bronze of the cannons of the nations that participated in WWI.
Known as Lago di Garda and the largest lake in size in Italy, Lake Garda is situated halfway between Venice and Milan at the southern foot of the Alps. The stunningly beautiful landscape was formed 2.6 million years ago during the end of the last ice age when the ice glacier melted.
