A preview of Waak Waak Djungi - Waak Waak ga Min Min, releasing 08 June on Efficient Space. Mother I'm Going comes from Jimmy Djamunba - a traditional songman and ceremonial leader from Ramingining, Northeast Arnhem Land. His moiety is Dhuwa and his language is Djinang. Jimmy belongs to the Marangu tribe and his dreamings are those of his traditional songs - black crow, stringy bark, honey bee, bream fish and palm trees. As someone who listens to psychedelic music and also an aboriginal man. This music hit me hard. I heard it playing in Melbourne Central on some JB Hifi Speakers and immediately went to find out who the artist was. We NEED more of this music.
