Don't get me wrong, I love to read, however, when I watch a movie, I want to watch the damn movie not miss everything due to reading what they are saying.
The whole thing was inaccurate for 40,000 BC, why was there hair so short, with no beards. Even if they had a way of actually shaving and cutting their hair, why would they when the area was so cold that extra facial hair would keep them warm. Also, why were the dark skin people there. By that time all humans in that area would've been very pale, but they forced diversity into it for the screen. Also when they're travelling across the land there wasn't a single animal in sight. In a place like that there would've been muskox and Hare as well as no shortage of birds. And I can’t believe that despite the fact that all meant to be hung together as survivors, not one of the characters other than the leader has a weapon (actually two weapons although that makes even less sense). A group like that would’ve been armed the teeth with Bose arrows and axes as well as Spears and knives. I know they wanted it just to be a horror thing but come on if they went to that amount of trouble to try and have them speaking in caveman they might as well have done the rest of the details as well, otherwise why not just have them speak English?
I've searched all the movie theaters for this. I couldn't find it. I searched a pirate movie app I have. Couldn't find it. Amazon prime has it. I payed 6.99 to rent it. I've waited since I heard about it to see it. I was so excited when I purchased it. Worst movie I've seen in many years. Biggest disappointment since covid atleast.

@tfries1607 mother fkers who go to the movies to watch it not read it! If I wanted to read a book I go to the library
why are the furs on the outside instead of the inside
It's a style that it's still common today...
Another tale of a strong independent woman being a fearless badass killing everything insight. Feminist and equality-driven movie-making has destroyed the industry. Remember the movie Prey, what a load of crap that was.
That right there is what I totally agree with you. And also that they were such a small number of people traveling alone. And why also the Neanderthals were just two, when they would have normally been many.
And yeah the movie Prey was a total piece of excrement, which totally goes against native American people's traditions. That's offensive to native Americans!
This is fajn comedy😂😂
My first thought: What do they use to keep so well groomed? Hard pass.
Humans have been shaving for tens of thousands of years it's not a recent invention
Trailer gave no clues.
The creature that is dragging them off into the woods turns out to be just a young cave boy. SMH
I hope every negative commenter watched the movie because that would make your words invalid
Questo deve essere un bel film
JESUS CHRIST IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE AND LIFE WE HAVE CAME FROM HIM AND SUSTAINED BY HIM AMEN...ORGANISATION with SYNEGISTIC ALIGNMENT OF MATTER IN EITHER FORM WON'T BRING LIFE THAT HAS THE BREATH OF GOD..REPENT.
Low budget and it shows. The final monster revelation will be super anticlimactic.
You don't know SHIT
English?????
No it's supposed to be PIE, that's for proto Indo-European...
Spoiler Alert: Don’t read this comment if you don’t want to get spoilers but the monster in the movie is actually Climate Change.
lol please tell me your joking.. .hope not
@@pimpinace_175 sarcasm eludes you it seems.
@@spencerdasilvaim joking back... then again it is hollywood
What's not told here, and if you watch the documentary, she was robbed by the U.S. Military of her design. Hence she was never properly credited as the inventor.
I'm not going to go see it. It seems like they need a new makeup artist, or just fire the one they have and start over. These folks look nothing like Goo-gaga or Too-taka from 43,000bc.
why can't they just speak - human?
I don't like copy pass on predator and prey...
It would be nice if it was in English. Who in the hell wants to read a movie? I mean Seriously, if they were trying to go for authenticity, then the actors would not be clean shaven or have perfectly trimmed beards. Otherwise it looks like I would enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, I love to read, however, when I watch a movie, I want to watch the damn movie not miss everything due to reading what they are saying.
wish they made look more primal/primitive not with fades and white teef!!!!
Looks great but they all have shape ups, seriously why allow them to have hair cuts! In the bce era & they have hair cuts! 🤦🏽♀️ The wardrobe looks like cosplay
You still find primitive people living today in the jungles of South America, Africa and southeast Asia, and they're clean shaven with haircuts...

I only came to view the trailer as the advertising said "Historically acurate skin tones" and was thinking "Huh?" they cannot make up their mind in hollywood on whether skin colour matters or not sigh.
I just can't stand movies with subtitles in it, especially all the way through it, I don't want to miss something because I'm too busy reading.
Why would they trim their hair, but wear fur coats? Do they wanna keep warm or not? Incompetent costune design 😂
This and other trailers I've seen absolutely suck! What the hell is going on?
Cave people look freshly groomed. Quality of films really went downhill.
I remember Teen Age Caveman with a young Robert Vaughn (perfect Vitals hair too) or 1million BC with Raquel Welch's shaved legs.
Definitely not Quest for Fire
You couldn't get some actual warriors this model bullshit isn't working....
this was some m night Shyamalan disappointment
Wow, the people during the Stone Age had language and words.
well yeah
Of course they did. I mean, even the Neanderthals had language. A bunch of bald apes didn't claw their way to the top of the food chain without knowing how to work together, and communicating with each other is key to that.
Well, yeah. It was called the stone age because of the tools we used... Not because we couldn't talk lol
They didn't ? STFU
Another low quality independent film. 🙄... at least try to be authentic to the time period. The way their dressed, replace the spears with rifles and it would take place in colonial times.
Did they need to hit those diversity quotas to get the budget? What a waste.
Oh, I guess you forgot the whole "migration out of Africa into Europe" period of history. Sorry - not everyone from ancient history had pale skin.
@@cqtaylor if you say so, I’m not convinced
@@adrianhaynes5315 It's basic Anthropology 101 - sorry if that goes against your societal hangups.
@@cqtaylor you might be correct, I wouldn’t claim to be right on everything, but the trailer doesn’t strike me as authentic, it strikes me as stretching the facts to fit diversity 101 criteria.
or you can go back to your Tarzan movies, even Disney has a few.
Terrible, terrible ending ruins the whole movie. Not worth it! People walked out of the theater I was in.
Because the majority of the populace don't want to accept that humans are the worst monsters!
Is everyone going to comment on the exact same thing? We get it, you're not going to see the film cause of grooming. Move along now.
