Forgive me lol But I couldn't disagree more with the notion that if I" knew" I would catch four and five pounders every time I went fishing that I would lose interest. 😂😂 The only thing I might lose interest in is going back to work 😂. I guess some of us just love it more than others.

What bridging the gap between young anglers and old elites is High School fishing and College Fishing and modern day mapping. Fishing all over the country high school fishing 250 boat tournaments then College Fishing 250 boat tournaments and the weights being the same or more than the elites on the same lake. Thats what is conditioning young anglers not FFS.

Technology for me doesn’t take the fun or the experience out of fishing . It may for some but that’s not for you or anyone else to say how someone likes to fish. I have got more kids hooked on bass fishing and fishing in general in the last couple years because of technology than I ever have in years before FFS.
Not saying nobody should use ffs , just the pros at the top level of the sport shouldn’t need it !
@@shanebridges4388 that’s not the point whether or not they should need it. Technology is a part of fishing, pro or not. Why should a tool that helps them do their job be banned? Just cause a master mechanic can fix a car without a lift doesn’t mean he should. There’s a massive list of other comparisons I could share but you get the point. Yes the leagues should regulate how many units they should have but definitely banning it is not the answer.

There is tech to make it all easier doesn’t mean it should be and most times isn’t used at least at the pro level ie football , baseball , or golf ! How are we ever gonna get the rest of America to recognize bass fishing as a sport if we don’t hold our pros to the same standards ! A real pro bass angler doesn’t or shouldn’t need ffs to do their job !
Here's are my thoughts for the 2025 Elites, am not saying banned and am not saying keep the FFS in the boats. Bass said that 2024 they were going to look at the situation and they are getting their full view now for 2025 take FFS of the boats and now you will truly have real data to compare one season vrs the other in my humble opinion that's the only way too gather honest data at the end of 2025 Bass will have all the information they need to make a decision that will be fair for everyone. from bait to rod to where to cast and that bass is 5lb or 8 so on
all u have to do is turn on the tech
is that a pro???

Bitter veteran that doesn’t have the drive anymore and you can tell he doesn’t even understand the technology by the way he was describing it. The original panoptix was just a wider code angle version of the lvs 32 and 34, you can do the same stuff on it as guys are doing now, it’s just blurrier.

Why you guys hating on a small tin boat ?? What's wrong with that? I guess we all need 100k boats.
Why should bass fishing be the only "sport" that doesn't cycle the pro players because some of them can't compete anymore? "Keep making rules until I am still relevant" is what I am hearing. Take all of the state legal (A-Rig) restrictions off and weigh your 5 biggest fish is my point of view. If you can't keep winning for some reason, bring your butt to the factory for 40 hrs a week and join the rest of us fishing on the weekends. Watching someone flip bushes all day for 5 bites is extremely boring too.
I agree 100% every sport has a retirement age and every sport it gets where older ones can't keep up that's life

Let me ask this in tournanments its about CATCHING right? or is it about how the fans or the anglers how they wanna catch them ??NOPE Its not about how you wanna fish or what fans want its about catching not fishing i dont care how they catch them watching a guy go down the bank and throwing 9 thousand times gets boring to id rather watch him catching them just me myself alot of thse older anglers hate not throwing at something they cant see as in offshore fishing even though there best chance ar winning is there anyway no matter what rules they put in olace some will always cry

If this industry doesn’t redirect to an inclusive recreation that returns to skill based success then it is in real peril of death by unchecked tech.

There's a lot of issues with money and marketing and all of that in professional fishing.. And everything else for that matter... Just being good with a game boy isn't going to make someone a professional fisherman. If it was as simple as you try to make it then you would have just caught fish by putting a live in your boat and it wouldn't have better miserable. It's a tool, it's not magic, if you learn to use it ALONG with understanding bass behavior and being willing to work and spend time on the water then it will make you better. But the tool itself is in almost every boat in a local bfl and they aren't even close to making it look like some magic trump card
