Employers use different evaluation tools and I'm not allowed to share any as they're copywrited.

Hi Carol, I am one year qualified as a Community Nurse. I just applied for a band 6 senior nurse coordinator, and have been offered an interview. How do I know if I am ready to step up? Do you have any advice. Many thanks 😊 and thanks for your content I really enjoy your videos ❤

Thank Natasha ❤ I have a leadership playlist with some videos that might help you prep for questions, including coordinating, leadership, QI and risk management, see link: czcams.com/play/PL9dNJStAmRBqCtFa-YTo8RryYSJxDrn8O.html&si=L8O1ZbNTCCsa7hnu
I also have short video on: 'How to deal with interview nerves' that may boost your confidence. Just remember everyone gets nervous, if you meet the shortlisting criteria go for it. If you don't get role you will have valuable interview experience. You are preparing for questions and can only do your best. Try to think about practical examples linked to key aspects of the role, which helps. Let me know how you get on, wishing you all thes best in interview. 😍🍀

@@carolforde-johnston thank you so much! I will check out the video link. I have also just watched your video relating to senior nurse/sister/charge nurse roles. In the community we do new patient assessments regularly, and we do an in depth holistic assessment including what the nursing needs are I schedule further visits and refer to other hcps if necessary. I don't think initially that the role is significantly different. I am passionate about quality care. I'm going to go for it, if I am not successful, I'll put this down to lack of experience and try again at 18 months qualified. Thank you for replying it means a lot xx

@@natashamaddox9357 Yes go for it as it will give you good experience. It took me 3 interviews to get my first team leader role and I learnt with each video. You will have loads of transferable skills too. It may help to book an informal visit and you can ask questions about what the role is and what the current challenges are. This may help any scenario based questions. Take care Natasha 😊
