Actually finding evidence of life, even if it's just single-celled life, would be an extraordinary goal. Currently we have no evidence even that life is possible in the universe except on earth as described by the Fermi paradox. Finding traces of single-cell life, therefore, represents the first step in being able to confirm that we are not alone in the universe.

If this is the guy I'm thinking of, then when he got the Magic Do-Anything Rocks, instead of making it so that resources are infinite, or maybe modify all life in the universe to not require finite resources, he decided to destroy half of all life - INCLUDING plants and animals on which sapient life might feed - which was incredibly short sighted as, using human population growth as a measuring stick, it would take ~50 years for populations to return to normal. He then destroyed the Magic Do-Anything Rocks, not just making it impossible for him to repeat his stupidity in a century or so, but also making it impossible for anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together to come along and use the Magic Do-Anything Rocks to find a more sustainable - ideally permanent - solution.

I'm obsessed with the possibility of finding complex life in the subsurface ocean of Enceladus or Europa. I want a submarine mission to go down there so freaking bad. Imagine they send a probe under that ice and its camera starts sending back pictures of genuine alien fish or crabs. That would just be so amazing.

If life exists or existed in Enceladus or Titan, it will be most likely unicellular life. However, the fact that it's quite possible to send a probe within the next years make it super exciting, even if it's just an unicellular life, we will finally prove that life in the universe is not as rare as we previously thought and is quite probable that there are other alien civilizations out there way more advanced than ours. However, we first need physical evidence to make such claim.

You incorrectly discredited the 2004 Navy F-18’s UAP incident. Not only was there infrared camera video but radar returns (the reason the F-18’s were dispatched to the area) and the pilots actually seeing the objects.
Yeah that's what I thought too. It can't be just lens flare as they were continuously detected even after recalibrating the radar, and it would be really weird that the pilots themselves didn't know it was lens flare

As a person who is training to be a fighter pilot of my country’s airforce i can tell you you should rank the tic tac higher since most of those tracks on the “lens flares” was achieved by radar before moving to an point track system on the TGP which means its tracking a physical object

Yeah people still think radar systems work by sweeping energy back a forth, which can create "ghosts" that the software will create from certain return anomalies. But new radars, with much faster processing units can use multiple band frequencies all at once, and send literal laser width bands of energy to create a high resolution picture of any returns and interrogate it. In less than a second, a modern AESA radar with the latest software can tell you if a baseball is new or worn from 30 miles out by the slight difference in X-band return signatures.

One way or another, blurry videos and weird radar glitches still aren't evidence it's aliens. Most UFOs are later confirmed as earthly objects or ordinary astronomical phenomena. The small percentage that remains unexplained is just that - unexplained. I can make up dozens of far out explanations that will still be less contrived than aliens (like secret military tech).
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Come back when you have actual high quality footage or better yet, examinable physical evidence. Believe me, scientists and skeptics will be all over that shit if it's legit.

@@305backup I think to a certain extent we know he’s telling the truth about the encounter. Him and His partner flew out and saw it, engaged with it, and then the next group of pilots flew out 10 min later and got the video.

This is a reminder that I watch & love this channel primarily for its comedic qualities.
The tic-tac incident wasn't actually caught on camera. it's a different incident to the ones shown in the video. Rather, various objects were detected by the USS Nimitz group several times. They thought that the new radars installed on some of the ships were faulty, but the issue didn't go away after recalibration. They sent f/a-18s out to investigate, and the pilots supposedly reported seeing a tic tac shaped object hovering above the surface of the water with a weird disturbance in the water below. Upon diving down to get a closer look, the tic tac accelerated off. There is no video to prove it, but word of mouth from people involved.

@@helios9025 Lens flare explanation was debunked in two separate research papers as well, one being a reply to the paper he listed; secondly I think he confused the rotation with the actual footage, the object recorded was still performing incredible feats but the gimbal may have altered the rotation of object caught on camera. There are several UFO studies now being conducted by various universities. My local university even used AI tracking to determine the difference between human made aircraft and drones, vs UAPs as the flight patterns and movements engaged in a distinguishable from one another.
That's not true. There's a video of the tic tac zooming off to the side. It's pretty famous. It's one of the three main videos released by the Navy.
Look up "Planet Eben" and you'll find a declassified NSA document about receiving messages from aliens out there on a different planet. It's real stuff, no joke.

@@roseg2239 nope. Fravor's encounter was the one where he describes a tic-tac shaped object. His plane wasn't equipped with flir, he couldn't possibly have caught a video. They send Underwood out next, his plane had flir and he caught an image of something, but Fravor stated that the object had disappeared. Underwood reported not seeing an unusual object himself.
The tic tac video being F tier is insane. There is a group of people that saw it and that there was a fleet of them, not just a flair. Commander fravor was legit asked if it could be a flair and he explains how it's not. Its on multiple podcasts

im haunted by a memory as a kid, because it was real when it shouldnt, i was in the car with my family on my way home, when suddenly we saw a giant white cylinder in the sky very far away beyond the clouds, people in the street were watching it too, i watched it for several minutes, then we arrived home, i stoped watching it for a few seconds while running to the second floor to get to the ceiling, but it was gone, i was shocked, something that big just dissapeared, it was in valparaiso, chile, i was like 12 years old

I think the tic-tacs/David Fravor/Mick West case needs more looking into before chugging them into the F-tier, the topic surprisingly has a lot of evidence and depth. Can't seem to fathom how speculating about organisms under the surfaces of moons of Uranus falls into a higher tier, especially since it's even mentioned we're not going be able to survey said moons anytime soon.
Yeah, exactly. We like to think we're smart, but alien life more advanced than us could be watching us for decades and we just haven't detected them en masse yet. The Navy pilots saw something that isn't normal, that's for sure. But, let's rank some speculation about biotic life in a moon of a gas giant as higher quality evidence when it isn't even evidence at all, just speculation.
As to higher tiers, I don't think sciencephile can distinguish between the words "Evidence" and "Hypothesis".

Criminal conspiracies are huge and the FBI deals with criminal gangs, racketeering, fraud and bribery. You act like a conspiracy theory is a wild thing to believe in, but depending on the actual theory you're referring to, it might be more plausible than emergent abiogenesis on an exomoon.

Apart from the tic tac being F tier L, crop circles should be WAY higher in my opinion. The examples shown in the video are definitely faked, but there have been crop circles that are truly anomalous. Most of these are just simple circles formed by the crops being bent in the same direction. The crops were not snapped, but bent in a peculiar way. The bending of the crops was replicated by microwaving them. There are also zero tracks or disturbances in the crops going into or out of the crop circle. I can go on and on about these, its reallt cool stuff.
Also, the mechanism used by the hoaxers to fake the crop circles was very crude and it would've been impossible to create the truly anomalous crop circles using their method.
Also also, i feel that cases of cattle mutilation should be on this list, as well as several well known mass sightings like the Pheonix Lights, Battle of Los Angeles, the 1950s Washington Sightings, etc. Really famous stories like the Roswell Crash and Bob Lazar's accounts would've been nice to see too.

Calling the tic-tac incident F-tier is just a flat out bad take. You're pretty much ignoring all the witness testimony and radar information surrounding the event in order to try an dismiss it as conspiracy. Also calling Europa and Enceladus a compelling source of proof of life outside Earth is missing a lot of actual hard data besides there being water and heat. It might be reasonable to assume that there's life on the moons but absolutely no evidence of it as of yet.

The whole list is junk as far as I'm concerned. He missed a whole lot of evidence collected by NASA, seti, and astronomers. Such as a star near tabby's star with a far more extreme dimming effect, another nearby with something like 20 earth-sized worlds, a galaxy with a massive void near the center of it, the Viking landers basically proved life on mars decades ago, and to simply declare the wow signal(and the many hundreds or thousands of other signals that would otherwise qualify as artificial) is simply ridiculous. How could anyone possibly know how likely a signal is to be natural if we don't have a source or a natural explanation that actually fits?

@@elitecereal But it hasn’t been proven false. A lens flare can be used for maybe a snippet of one of the videos but the fact that reporting were being made on the craft by different ships, different radars, Awacs, visual confirmation etc. This isn’t a lens flare.

Flur video: it's most likely the back of an airplane from far away. the plane only appeared to be moving when the plane from which the video was recorded on moved.
Gimbal video: it's probably another plane with infared clarity engines. it appears to be moving because of the camera's rotation.
Go Fast video: it's legit just a balloon, and it isn't going very fast at all. it only appears to be going fast because of an effect of parallax.

In crop cycles, his debunking evidence claimed two men are credited with their creation. I looked into it and the 2 men he mentions did make claims but they were never able to replicate any of the circles. Those 2 are clear frauds.

First time I have to strongly disagree with this channel. Mick West is a known debunker and his analysis on the tic tac navy videos has been disputed by the actual pilots using the fighter jet onboard equipment. Not saying it's definitely ET, but definitely not a lens flare.

And to say it was a glare is so fucking insane when multiple jets saw these things at vastly different angles, there is no way this is a lens glare...they had human eyes on it too!
also they were described as different shapes in both events, the west coast being a tic tac and east coast one being a cube with a sphere around it

The tic tac was definitely an A tier event. The USS Princeton had picked up radar hits on multiple objects for days during the exercises hardly a lens flair. 2 f-16s were sent to investigate. Commander Fraver who was a very experienced pilot and the 5th most senior on his carrier as well as his wingman reported seeing a tic tac shaped object making erratic movement that was not a plane or helicopter. As commander Fraver went down on the object it took off at incredible speed and appeared at a waypoint 60 miles away seconds later. Total fail in dismissing it.

The two crop circles hoaxers were literally in their 60s/70s and claimed to make them with wood planks and ropes. Even if we say majority of them are human made, there are genuinely a good amount of that haven’t been explained. There was a case where the literal British military posted around a crop field and next morning a crop circle appeared in the field. Wouldn’t put it in F
