Well I'm here I'll just say I am a production supervisor at Goodwill NNE we don't pick the prices of the items... we have lists called "good, better, best" we have to follow. the price jumps are corporate greed, not the employees! They even took away our $1.00 price point. Now everything, no matter what it is, starts at $2.00 even if it's not worth it.

From experience, vintage Barbies sell fast, and the easiest way to tell is the face, due to the bodies having mostly the same design for decades.
Those are super cheap prices on Barbie Dolls. Thrift stores in my area (Phx) overprice them like $4-$6 each! Not thrifty prices. Plus, it seems like there aren't as many as there used to be.
I have a couple bins full of barbies that Ive been meaning to list for over a year now lol

Those coffee table Bibles sell on eBay all day long for decent money. I listed one today. I usually clear about $20 on them. I would have bought the vintage latch hook kit, but that’s my era. Lol

Hello there, I am a supervisor at Goodwill NNE. I just wanted to say that we tape up the board games because we check the parts before we tape it. If we don't tape them customers steal the parts and or dump them all over the place. We are aware it's annoying, it annoys us too.
Some thrift stores don't tape things up, but many of the cases their board games are still complete

Lego prices are beyond gold standard level. Its cheaper to get those knock off ones at flea markets (sounds obvious but they're significantly cheaper)

Especially because he mentioned there's non-lego in there. The minifigs may not have been real either, although I didn't get a close up look. The big bins I found thrifting in this country were usually picked clean of the minifigs too.
