I think I saw Song of the South as a very young child at a free matinee in the local movie theater. I barely remember anything about it than the song Zippity Do Dah. After all it was almost Christmas, mostly unaccompanied children and Santa was passing out bags of candy in the lobby after the show.w

The bad weather didn't arrive to Orlando until Sunday. So yesterday and today, we're getting lots of rain, wind and some flooding. But it'll be gone by tomorrow.
Score on the upgrade! If you came in to Orlando on Thursday, there were surrounding area storms (I picked up my boss that night and we waited over an hour for her late plane from DC). Many flights were delayed so it was a domino effect for arriving passengers.
Also, Hurricane Debby has been moving north in the Gulf causing a tiny bit of rain on Saturday increasing on Sunday with a tornado watch until Monday morning. Be careful outside right now.
I just got an upgrade on 31st from Houston to Frankfurt on United. It was a great experience

Upgrades don’t happen often, especially on domestic flights in Australia. In December 2018 I had a hip replacement and the following March I flew from Melbourne to Brisbane on our national carrier Qantas. Due to the distance to the gate from check-in I got wheelchair assist. As we got near the plane on the sky bridge the attendant hit a bump and sent me sprawling onto the floor. Bruised elbow and knees, but thankfully no damage to my hip, (lucky because I was going on a cruise). Although first class had only one or two passengers there was no way they were going to upgrade me. Very disappointing 😄😄

These are our normal summer thunderstorms. The tropical storm is still far away, we may get some feeder bands rolling through later today and into tomorrow.
Hi, Just some info: The Song of the South, is Banned in the U.S. for regular viewing. I took a film class in College that showed the film. Sadly, the film is problematic, due to its portrayal of African Americans and the Reconstruction Era (racist). Disney knew better than to have built Splash Mountain in the first place. They got away with it for so long, because they knew that the younger generation would not have a film to reference. and the song is quite catchy and fun.
