OMG barrownoat will. at the 15:00 mark, you give the thumbs up without mentioning the tape that came off the closest to the waterside...lifted a ton of white paint off. hello...
Otherwise I once again bow down to to great videos.
On a side note, your recent videos of quite a few weeks of you heading up some quite obscure canal, that you turned chicken on and after a day of humiliation you turned around and completed the journey to the end, and detail in great videos by you singlehandedly up some canal called the pontysomething. Simply one of the great narrowboat journeys and accomplishments out in the narrowboat world. I was amazed. Thank you.
And tying in with that....It looks like Robbie Cummings of the Naughty Lass is headed that way. OMG. Now other narrow boaters are trying to jack your style, lol
Yeah the paint always comes of. I've tried every tape going. I've painted the entire roof part now so I covered that up. Ha ha.
The Pocklington canal was a real challenge and the two boaters at the start said don't go on but I did. Ha ha nice. I think Robbie went up before me because I saw his picture on the Pocklington Facebook page. Thanks for the great comment. Cheers
The canals look lovely up there, the towpaths and locks look so well cared for, and so little traffic. Must be nice to escape the more hectic canals, especially during the summer holidays.
It's such a relief to cruise quite waters. Moor almost anywhere and yes it's clean and tidy at the locks. Electric as well. Mmm lovely. Cheers Glynn
rivers look lovely & wide up there , that bird you could hear through your air vents were chaffinches , beautiful .
It was a lovely bird song. I love this area. The canals are really quite. Best area.

26 minutes in. The height of satirical elegance! As to bread - try Irish Soda bread, low fat low salt and very filling. Plus it makes the best toast. If you can't find any it is dead easy to make!

Hi Will, The place that you saw the railway wagons was the site of kellingley pit, the last deep mine in the country. They moved
coal from there by rail and canal to feed the local power stations...before they knocked them all down!
I'm moored currently along the Goole stretch, see about six boats each day, no towpath traffic just blissful quiet After cruising all over for years trying to find a quiet canal I found it here about eight miles from my birth place.
Not looking forward to Bank Dole lock tomorrow. Keep making the vids, very informative and entertaining.
I love those quite stretches. Just magic. Me and the birds. Ooh don't titter or even twitter..ha ha Cheers for watching.

P S try using tights that are’nt laddered when sanding 👍
That would be an interesting vlog building your model canal. I used my old tights last time but i put a ladder in them and the sand went all over the place. I thought bloody typical ladder in my tights. Ha ha P.S i'm currently trying to see the boat guy. Cheers Tony

Will (the transformer), mix the sand in your paint if you want to keep the grey. That said the sand color looked pretty good! Nice cut that. I'd love to fish that. Did lots of canal fishing before I left for the the States in 90. Also a "ripper" is a good fart! Come on!
Sand in the paint. Great idea. One section in my filming while editing was all twitchy but it smoothed out when I uploaded so that robot part didn't work. Most canals are full of bream. Ripper is a good fart as well? I've heard let rip but not ripper. Anyway have a good day.

Nice wide waterways, very quiet. The downside of bigger locks it takes forever to emtpy or fill. But you are not in a hurry, always meet new friendly people at the lock, both subsctibers and watchers ;-)

Do you see any cormorant birds nowadays? They feed on eels mainly. Just beautiful when they sit on a branch and spread their wings to dry their feathers.
