- Ailing Nigerian movie actor, Olukayode Olugbenga Odumosu popularly known as 'Pa Kasumu' has on SaharaTV that the intractable ailment he's been battling for over 5 years is traceable to his over-consumption of alcohol.
Kasumu, 60, revealed in the interview that he did marathon drinking to win alcohol contests, an outcome of which he barely can move and speak audibly.
The veteran actor said the ailment has claimed fortune. 'Pa Kasumu' said he sold his car and landed properties to treat the crisis of his ill-health.
Really cant stop shedding tears .😭😭😭God pls intervene in his life and lives of people like him

I feel pity for the man, because no one deserves to go through such. But on the other hand, this has nothing to do with Nigeria but individuals. These are the people that worked for their money and enjoyed it, travel out of the country in Business Class, date beautiful ladies, ride on nice cars during their time. There is no such scheme for taking care of veterans when ill in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, I do not think you are right to shout on anyone who has said something to condemn the past drinking habit of Pa Kasumu. It is like two people where one has done something wrong and has confessed to the wrong thing. You as an observer then decided to castigate the person who has condemned the wrong thing. How a hell will that be right? A bad habit is a bad habit that has to be condemned without sentiment and so the person who has condemned it hasn't done so with negativity. You really need to learn how to be open in your judgement and be more analytical before forming your opinion.

Am just asking , has he got a wife & children? For those should have helped him stop these excessive alcoholism & smoking. Now I do understand how his condition deteriorated but I hope his colleagues will still help him as they are the only one associated with him

One of the addictions hard to quit is drinking and smoking even if he had help he might still not be able to stop except he seek professional help and he is determined. Unfortunately most alcoholic stop/reduce drinking when they start having health issues n organ failure
