And as you had to wait 1 month to have it as 12yrs of Canadian experience before applying PR, did you get enough time when your PGWP is expiring on Dec and you have to wait for your PR processing time again?

Hi!!!! I got really inspired in this post of yours. Thank you so much for sharing. Actually me too Im not considering to take another program, even initially I am actually financially prepared for that, Now, I also have a friend in Calgary who took 1 year program and received an ITA. And she told me to just plan ahead and the 1 year program will be just enough. And yes, I am preparing to take my language test, which would you recommend? CELPIP or I should take the IELTS general exam? Thanks so much
You can try the practice exams for both so you can gauge what seems easier for you. ☺️
Congratulation 👏👏.May I ask a question ?I have a degree of bachelor in medical Laboratory Sciences but I still do not have experiences in the field only training and volunteer work. Can I apply to CSMLS exam with out it??

honestly i feel like it all depends on the program you chose. I see some international students studying programs that do not guarantee jobs and thats why they need a second program that will at least give them nore opportunities and more time to find jobs. but all in all, healthcare is the golden ticket, there are many 1 year programs in healthcare with a guarantee of a job even before graduation,i hope more international students go this route as it is better financially and you will have PR 1 year after studying and (within 2 years of being in canada)

There has been all programme draw since last year which include cec as well . My file is 490 in cec ans last week cut off was 524

Hello Ate! Question lang po, if natapos niyo na po yung 1 yr PGWP niyo saka lang po kayo pwede mag-apply ng PR right? How will you stay po in Canada if your PGWP is completed? Extend niyo po ba PGWP niyo while waiting for your PR? Or Tourist visa po i-apply niyo?
As long as may ITA ka na and just waiting for PR pwede ka magapply ng bridging open work permit kung paexpire na ang PGWP mo.

For me, listening is easier in IELTS. I think it’s a personal reference overall. I suggest you take practice test for both exams so you gauge what is easier for yourself.

If someone doing a postgraduate certificate course of 8 months. For the remaining 4 months can the person work full-time? And also will the post-graduate work permit count from the remaining 4 months ? Or is it best to apply for a work permit after the 4 months
I want to study a one year course at poly Saskatchewan
You can’t work after that 8 months under study permit. However, you can apply for PGWP right away after completion of studies. Tip: Apply for pgwp if you already have skilled job offer.
