I passed my test last week. First time and only had 6 minors. I watched a fair few of your videos on the run up to the test. Thanks for all your help.

Only 6 minors?! I got about 14.5 in my basement you need to level up smh.
Minors are nothing. You need some majors to make it more interesting. xD

This is the best instructional video. Clear, concise, and calm. Excellent job! Thank you.
Thank you very much :)
This is by far the best manual car driving instructions video have ever seen
Just a helpful tip for newbies getting used to where the gears are, remember this :
the odd gear numbers (1, 3, and 5) will always be at the top of the gear stick, in other words your pushing the shifter forward to go into these gears, lowest at the left and highest at the right
The even number gears (2, 4, and 6 if applicable) will always be at the bottom of the shifter, and unlike the before mentioned numbers you’ll be pulling the shifter downwards to go into any of these gears, and like before lower numbers on the left and higher numbers on the right
Keep that in mind because it help making shift gears for me become muscle memory
Always remember changing gears whether it’s up or down is always in a zig-zag formation, you zig-zag right to go up from 1st to 6th, and you zig-zag left to go down from 6th to 1st
Bear this in mind and hopefully it’ll help you make sure changing gears becomes second nature
Thank you
Thank you soo much, this was actually very helpful :) have a good day
Thank you
So what was the parking break? Thought it was a loose clutch, but it looks like he moved it to a 6.
@@vigantasbruzas8583 I’ll be honest I can’t really make sense of what your on about, I was only providing guidance to how to use a manual shifter correctly
Amazing content through your videos I have managed to pass my driving exam. Thank you! ✌🏾
I’ve still got 3 years till I can take my driving test and I’m trying to learn young so I can pass faster and easier and want to say this is helping me learn

Changing down gears when approaching junctions or slowing is still a problem for me, changing gears in general.

Really helpful, thanks for clear cut instructions and explaining it diligently,
Excellent. Coming here after I have learnt and still good and gives a good logical reasoning. Composed and logical without being ironic or bad humor. Use of the word 'gravity' during uphill was fun😊 not many use it.
Thanks for simplifying this. I hope I will enjoy my lessons now
Hey there! Now you're all set to have an amazing time during your driving lessons! Stay focused, and enjoy the journey ahead! Safe travels and happy driving! 😄🚦
Perfect explanation, thank you.

Hey, congratulations on passing your driving test! That's brilliant and I'm pleased to hear that our channel played a part in your success! Three minors? You nailed it! 👊👍 That's some top-notch driving skills right there. 🚗💨 Keep that positive attitude going, because even after passing the test, there's always room for growth and learning. Safe travels and keep enjoying the ride!
Much Appreciate 👊🏽👊🏽
Passed my test today, prolly watched all of your videos 😂 and a loooottttt thanks to you for being so so helpful, keep up the great work 🥰
Hey there! Huge congrats on passing your test!
Thanks for the kind words, and happy driving.
I passed road test almost 3 years ago, but still love your videos. :) Just bought a manual transmission car, after driving automatic since the road test. It takes some re-learning and getting used to. Especially since the car I passed the test in was a diesel BMW manual, that would even take some effort to stall lol. The one I just bought is a smaller engine petrol car. Man that thing can stall.
Hey there! It's so good to hear that you're still loving our videos even after three years! 🙌 Now, switching back to manual transmission? That's some serious dedication! 🚗💨 It's definitely a whole new adventure and requires some re-learning, but trust me, you'll get the hang of it in no time. Stalling? Well, consider it a reminder that even the best of us need a little practice now and then. 😉 Keep at it, stay patient, and soon you'll be cruising smoothly in that petrol beauty! 🌟 Thanks for your ongoing support. Safe travels, and enjoy the journey of manual driving all over again!
May you make video about basic car maintenance, predriving checkings such as oil, water, lights, etcc?
Thanks
I love your illustrations

If you are confused, then first is to clutch, turn the key a little, wait for electronics, start engine by pushing key to start full ignition, keep clutch, rev up to 1500 rpm+ , find biting point, swap to fist gear and remove handbrake

What he means by “off gas” means you should lift your foot above the accelerator pedal. British people or others call the accelerator pedal “gas pedal”
My second question is, when I'm parking and getting out of the car, I've learned it's always good to put the car in 1st gear or reverse if it's on an uphill.
Now when do I actually put the car in gear?? Is it after turning off the engine??
Switch off first 👍
@@worlddriving thank you very much.... U don't know how glad I am with this info
Can I buy my car and be practicing alone while having my driving classes, or do I have to pass before buying a car.
Man, when I see these UK roads I am reminded of the fact that our Highways and roads are pretty much modeled the same but no one here gives a shit about driving rules like people do in the UK.
BTW I was talking about India with more British things than Indianised ones. Rules, laws, penalties, etc. You name it.
Hi I've been watching your videos a few months now while learning to drive though I did lessons 10 plus years ago so not a beginner. I was doing really well then I had things causing me stress and now I've gone backwards. Do you have any tips or videos that could help me get back on track. I have my test booked in September as was doing so well and now I'm struggling so bad I'm not even sure if I will be test ready.
Hi! Consider finding a quiet, familiar area or an empty car park where you can practice specific manoeuvres or challenging aspects of driving. Remember, the more you practice, the more comfortable you'll become behind the wheel.
In addition to that, make sure to check out more of our videos. We've got a treasure trove of driving tips, techniques, and advice that can give you that extra boost you need. From parallel parking to handling tricky hills and junctions.
Wish you all the best.
So it's ok to have foot on clutch and gas at the same time except when switching gears? (Please help me, I'm driving my friends car for a week while pet sitting for her 😆)
Thanks... My question is what is actually the correct way of pulling the parking break up?
Some say just pull it up without pressing the button. Some also say press the button before pulling it up...
So confused...
Now even when my parking break is down I still see the break light on my dashboard
Pull up without pressing the button. But if the sound annoys you then press the button :)
@@worlddriving thank you
Please can I use a Bus for my driving lesson?
I used manual gears for decades, and recently had to learn automatic.
If you get a driving license by using automatic, you are not allowed to drive with manual.
If you drive manual first, you are allowed to drive automatic.
Ehat is the safest car to drive, manual or automatic transmission?
It all depends on who's driving 😂
@@worlddriving 😅 I understand ,I'm talking in general especially for beginners,or just for our safety
They're both safe but automatic is easier to get to grips with.
@@worlddriving thanks for your answer, I've been thinking about that for months ,and thanks for your help 😇😊😇
Changing jears stil hard for me

I thought you brake than press clutch?
If you're driving slower than about 10mph then clutch first so that the car doesn't stall. If you're driving faster, brake first 👍

Hey what car is this?
Ford Fiesta :)
Man this seems like such a hassle
I’ve automatic license but I didn’t drive for the past 5 years and today is my 1st day to learn manual driving.. watching this video giving me fear.. should I give up learning manual and get back to automatic.. some one suggest me please
Learning to drive a manual transmission can be a bit challenging at first, but it's a great skill to have. If you're feeling fearful, it's completely normal. Don't give up just yet! Take it one step at a time, practice in a safe and empty area with a driving instructor , and with time and patience, you can become proficient in driving manual. Many people find it rewarding once they get the hang of it. Ultimately, the decision is yours, but don't be discouraged by initial fear; it often subsides with practice.
Using CZcams tutorials it’s possible to learn driving automatic transmission but not manual!
It’s only in “undeveloped” countries like Ireland that still drives manual cars..
I not even know how to moved any car yet
You guys always never recall to teach reverse , is that not part
The video was getting too long already 😂
Separate video for reversing czcams.com/video/ikbzDyySK30/video.html
Idk why something that seems so old fashioned like clutch pedal and gear stick still exists omg i hate learning manual. Why is the stick a floppy leather thing instead of clearly showing what gear its in. I always do the wrong one. Or just a damn button
im 15 i can drive but i need to be able to drive comfortably without knowing i will bump my neighbors car again, or scrape the car from end to end with the metal door lol
For me its changing gears without looking and keeping the car stable. Always put it in 1st instead of 3rd 🤦🏽♀️😒
Hey there! 🙌 Thanks for reaching out and sharing your gear-changing struggle. Don't worry, we've got you covered! 🚗💨 We've already created a video that specifically addresses your problem and helps you master changing to 3rd. Check it out right here: czcams.com/video/j5zJ1xA_6lQ/video.html 🎬✨ It's packed with tips and tricks to help. No more accidental shifts to 1st gear! So give it a watch, practice those techniques, and soon you'll be rocking those gear changes like a pro! Keep learning, and keep on cruising! 🚗💯
Its better to learn it slowly, you dont have to rape gears with to much force on the shift handle.
What is the point of still having manual cars here in north america almost all modern cars are automatic
People want fun slamming gears
19 minutes? 😂
START THE CAR OFF AT 3k RPM’S!!! In the real world, people don’t drive as you’re teaching. Newbie’s will kill it by your teaching. Stop making videos like this you’re just trying to show off how you can drive the car without giving it gas when along you know you never drive like that in the real world.
Set the revs at about 1.5k as shown in the video unless you're moving off uphill.
I always wondered if cars in the UK, since they drive on the other side of the road as opposed to most countries, if their manual stick and pedals were also flipped. But I guess they are the same. It seems weird that with about 75-90% of humans in the world are right handed, to have to do that with the left. It would drive me crazy.. haha
