I mean, if you wanna get really technical, the earth is, in fact, in space.
but its boring, i want to die in an epic space battle or something to do with space things that dose not involve earth
I am all in on Sips. I fully believe that by going to space we can unite Earth.
Human behavior is that of group mentality, and we always seek out those that are similar to us and those who are not. This happens on every scale of society, be it local football/soccer clubs rivalries, provincial rivalries, national rivalries, cultural rivalries or continental rivalries.
If we would go to space and meet an Alien race, our highest level of 'rivalry' would switch to planets and races and allow global differences to lessen, under the guise of a common "enemy".
Of Course that also means that we’re probably not going to be the friendliest or nicest of neighbors for the unfortunate race we meet...

That just means that humanity will fly into space, meet some species that looks like xenomorphs or something, humans immediately declare war, and then humans get completely destroyed by the much more advanced space-faring species. Human extinction for the win.
I think what would happen is that we only find shitty bugs and stuff that have no concept of something trying to harm them. They wouldn't fight back and we slaughter them to near extinction. Then we open our eyes like Sips at 2:28 and either farm the creatures for something or put them in a zoo. Either way they'll just die because we can't take care of them.
i actually 100 percent agree with sips here. we need something external to focus on

I like how with these only three animations, its not one sided to one of em. They get to talk about their topic for the majority of the animation.
First one is Lewis, second is sips, and third is pyrion.

Turns out Lewis was the one to go out in a blaze of ironic glory in a space battle, as he turned around and witnessed his fiery demise in Pulsar.
These three made my day
i like the end animation a lot too! pretty cool to see them have facial expressions and looking around lol
They actually said space battle are illegal at some treaty, as well as space nukes and moon wars. Lasers, on the other had are fine, so no spaceships but yes death star moon
I think the specific law is about putting WMDs in space, there are no explicit laws against non-WMDs
