Tracks Of My Tears is a sad song by Smokey Robinson, and it is about noticing him smiling, but if looking closer at his face, what would be noticed is the tracks of his tears from sobbing. The song was about some breakup, and he was very sad about it, but he tried to look happy, but it could be told when looking closely at his face, being the tracks of his tears.
A lot of his songs were about a major break up or someone he couldn’t be with. Due to being famous or touring all the time. Drinking too if you listen to the lyrics on We Burn.
