Here in Shelby, NC our courthouse has put up signs outside that say No Camera in the Courthouse. My son asked them what the signs were about and was told by a clerk it was because of people that called themselves 1st Amendment Auditors may try to come in. They put them up as a deterrent for them! No code or statue on the signs!
I asked about the signs jokingly almost, and partly because I looked for them. You're right though, still unlawful if they were present

Such signs would be unconstitutional, unless they are posted for areas that are restricting access to the public (and those areas are properly marked/signed).
Court houses are different, as there can be cases going on that judges/the government doesn’t want the public saying for a variety of reasons (for example undercover detective testifying, information shared that would threaten national security if the public saw, cameras could jeopardize the safety of someone/people or sway the outcome of the trial in some way, etc - just some examples off of the top of my head).
Personally, I think that most court trials/proceedings should absolutely be open to cameras and shared with the public, and blanketly not allowing them ever in a courthouse is extremely unconstitutional.
@@leef_me8112 they can enforce no cameras in the court room unless the state says otherwise. A lot of places are trying to enforce courtroom rules on the entire court house. There have been several arrests challenging it over the years. Not sure of the outcomes.

Just a shout out, the most horrific crime was committed in Struthers, Ohio where the cops murdered James Sheets shooting him 28 times and then planting a gun in the car. Delete Lawz channel is covering it but this needs to go viral. The widow is left with 4 children and another on the way without a father. This is one of the worst cop killing and cover up I have ever seen.
