I should be doing Uni work, but Harry posted a video. And he’s such a gentleman that it would be rude not to take time out my day to watch his video on the new Lamborghini SUV.
Lord Metcalfe demands our undivided atention.
Absolutely!
Your professor surely agrees...
Nice one Harry, loving the Lamborghini madness
Well i guess We all got better things to do than watching a Review of a Car We can't afford...
Even if i have zero interest of this car I still watch it till the end just because of Harry
Next journalist: "you can hear a lot of squeaks and rattles in this car with only 400miles on the clock, not impressed with the quallity of it"
That's funny
I am rocked by how Harry makes it seem as if he's taking you along on a joy ride and delivers commentary as if you are old pals...takes a certain kind of person to pull that off.
Hats off to you sir.
how the hell do you put a false vent on a $250k+ car?!
Why not? There is already fake leather, fake carbon fiber, fake wood, fake suede, fake metal...why not put a fake vent?
Yes, I thought we were a long past that phase. It is like having a baby that poops on her/his pants and eventually it stops because the baby evolves.. But then It is quite a bit more alarming seeing that kind of behaviour again when that said baby is 20 years older.
Goes with the fake engine noise in the cabin
check out the tiny econocar calipers on the rear brakes
Yes, everything about this car is fake. Fake vents, horrible SUV concept, terrible design... fuck that car, it's the ugliest and most vulgar object I've ever seen.
The Alpacas are clearly thinking "what the hell is he doing now".
Unless they are familiar with Harry's CZcams
Maybe he is testing the car for effect it will have on trophy wives ?
lol
@@dalibormilic139 - trophy wives? Are you suggesting these are MARRIED Alpacas?
@@markfox1545 I am suggesting their attributes are similar: pouty lips, big eyes, great hair, about as bright as a candle next to LED light ...
Just admit it. It's Harry hooning a Lambo in a field . Something everyone of us commenting on here would do given half the chance.
Yup
No.
Thank goodness for Harry
All the reviews I have seen on the urus (and there has been alot) not one has explained what a " hot" V8 engine is.
Thank you Harry.
Great videos - if I had a farm, and was loaned a Urus with Italian plates - the first thing I'd do was take it round the fields! Excellente. Love Harry's expert commentary. Thanks Harry.
Amazing! Harry shepherding his alpaccas with a heaven-blue Italian suoercar. It cant get any better!!
As always Harry, a joy to watch your videos. A proper bloke talking with passion and a sense of normality about cars and bikes. Keep up the good work. Bravo
This is what I want to see, someone with a pair to take a urus off road
Still waiting. All I saw was some foppish SOB take a Lamborghini into a very nice field. I don't even know where a person would find such a smooth place do drive offroad unless you take this thing golfing.
@@kfrerix9777 A field smooth enough to use as an airport.
@@kfrerix9777 When Lamborghini sends you your Urus to review maybe you could show us its offroad abilities?
Driving on some short grass field is not driving offroad
@@kfrerix9777 It is off road. It doesn't always have to be rock climbing or mud running.
It simply doesn’t matter how many videos are uploaded of any given new car, I do not feel sufficiently informed about it until I hear Harry’s take on it. His way of expressing his views makes me feel as if I were actually doing the driving.
You have the best endings of all the CZcamsers; the exhaust sounds. Love it 😎
Another outstanding review from Harry's garage: informative, engaging, entertaining and just plain fun. Thanks so much.
I just want to say thank you Harry for your reviews, they are the best I've seen around, realistic and not with the glossiness of other high profile producers (Top Gear). Keep up the great work, Saludos from Mexico!
I love your channel, Harry. Your videos are always so pleasant and entertaining. Thank you.
Hey Harry,
Thx for the detailed review- LOVE your videos!!
I was at an unveiling of the Urus here in Vancouver in March of 2018 and spent some time with it.
I love the looks. The overall exterior shape and some of the dash looks very similar to the 2019 Q8 but the drive, the engine, the ANIMA lever area, the aggressive looks of the front & rear ends are definitely LAMBORGHINI!!
In Canada I spec'd one out (4 seater) to $320K CDN and the starting budget is about $280K.
In Vancouver we have a strong Supercar community & many high end SUV's on the road too.
This is the BEST LOOKING of the bunch imo.
Its perfect for me as I take my buddies to sporting events, boys night out, golfing, hiking and up to Whistler & Kelowna during the winter months too. Yes my wife will drive it but not during potential snowy conditions. She hates driving (and terrible passenger too) in the snow.
What many people fail to realize is that its a Lambo with the latest tech, a 641HP engine that does 0-62 in 3.3 with 627 lb⋅ft of torque at 2,250-4,500 rpm and it can haul 5 adults with luggage!! Its a Lamborghini folks that drives 5 adults around. - let that set in.
Plus the exhaust note is AWESOME!!!
Also, some people are complaining about the ANIMA lever and that you have to click thru to return to the Strada mode BUT...a little tip ... just pull and hold it and it returns to Strada automatically:-)
Plus, Italian is in my blood (family from Verona & Treviso areas) and I'm president of the local FOHI (Fat Old Hairy Italian) club.
Lambo or bust for me:-)
Luv that Blue Ext!!
Cheers from Vancouver Canada!!
The bmw x6m competition will eat it all day long
Something comical about a Lamborghini in a field. Thanks, Harry for another good review.
Wow..love that they have kept the dynamic handling on this beast.....mile munching comfort and smile inducing cornering and handling...great combo...thanks Harry......
I assume a full brake service will cost you a Porsche 996 or something ;-)
VW/Audi dealers won't touch it despite it sharing 99% common parts.
@@nelsonclub7722 its sharing 5% of parts with audi and all these parts are customized by lamborghini.
@@dkdanis1340 While it says Lamborghini on the back, it’s no such thing. The chassis/platform comes from an Audi Q7, the engine and gearbox from a VW Touareg/Porsche Cayenne/Audi Q7, and the rear axle and suspension from a Bentley Bentayga.
This engine has application in other VW Group cars, including both the Porsche Cayenne and Panamera, as well as some of the Audi S and RS models, the A8, the Bentley Continental V8 and the Flying Spur V8.
The dashboard screens are from an Audi A8 and the electric window switches are from a Mk 7 Volkswagen Golf!!!!!
Thats a huge 5%!!!!!!
@@nelsonclub7722 window switches are from audi q8. And infotainment is from q8 but it's customized by lamborghini. Suspension, brakes are all lamborghini. Most people don't understand platform sharing. Platform is just bottom part of car and it's customized differently for urus, bentyaga, cayenne... Roof, body panels etc is all unique. Interior is fully unique lamborghini with some audi parts but they are part of infotainment.
@@dkdanis1340 I work in motorsports industry - we race prepared one for 4X4 and I can totally tell you - its 90% VW/Porsche
7:46 - 170 miles range remaining. 10:30 - range warning. You weren't kidding about it being thirsty off road!
It just says how many miles theres left when the engine runs at the current speed, same with my 2003 mb s600
Love the sheer delight you express in this test. Hats off to Harry. Giggle Factor Plus...
Another great video Harry, many thanks! Whilst not my number one choice for a practical daily driver, I am warming to the Urus, especially after your typically thorough demo, keep-up these great vids Harry! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love your videos Harry - fantastic - many thanks. Probably only Harry has the place to drive an Urus off the tarmac - great stuff. Thank you so much for posting all these fantastic car enthusiast's video. An Urus isn't my cup of tea, but I love all cars. Keep up the good work. Best wishes.
You should drive the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. I’m leasing the 2.0L Engine version and it’s fantastic.
indeed, its better than this Urus Audi
Harry you seriously do the best videos cheers
Harry’s enthusiasm comes across for the Lamborghini brand. You always seem to learn so much about a car including the small details and what they are like to live with.
This is one of Harry's best videos. It had me laughing.
What a waste not putting Lambo’s V10 in it. Just a reskinned Audi.
Hmmm echos of 1979 and the Porsche 924 being labeled a reskinned Audi. I feel this is different, it's clearly much more than a Audi.
Hahaha like the Hurracan isnt Audi derived either....🤣
@@andrewstones2921 Audi parts can't be labeled Audi? 🤔🤔🤔
Well I agree it could have been so cool for the engine sound, but, the NA V10 does not give enough torque for such heavy car...
I think Harry was saying it wasn't a reskinned audi basically.. So I think I'll believe him thanks very much
Absolutely love it great review H !
Your best video to date Harry. Love the green field test, could not be better.
"this is not a pretty car"
I respect your understatement!
Harry is a very polite man.
Fantastic enthusiast's video Harry - many thanks. Until this video from expert Harry, showing us how the Urus drives down the road, I would not have thought much of this car. But Harry seemed to like it! Except the expense!
Finally, an SUV for families that want to drive fast! I'm absolutely floored by how practical the Lamborghini is. It has good fuel economy, a spacious boot, and it handles a grassy field quite well. Pretty remarkable. I also can't believe that I just used the words "practical" with "Lamborghini" in the same sentence.
Nice review. Thanks for this one. I love it in that blue color too. Keep it up.
That blue Urus in a Cotswold meadow cracked me up!
" I could do this all day"....LMAO. Needs to be on a shirt & car stickers, Harry. Cheers!
The ultimate vehicle.....ultimate review...someone actually taking it off road. Bravo!
I wouldn't be particularly interested if many other content creators on CZcams reviewed this vehicle, but Harry makes any vehicle review (even if not my segment/interest) a pleasure to watch and get impressions from.
Watching you off roading, having so much fun on the farm makes me wonder if your wife is watching from the window shaking her head and saying Oh that boy lol
Everybody tests the Urus on mountain roads. Harry, "take it to the pasture and slide about with it, its the right place for an old tractor manufacturer and it is what Feruccio would have wanted". Should have transferred some bulls in a trailer between pastures as well to show of the towing capacity.
Opening hoods on cars, SUV's and trucks these days is a rather sad affair. Us gear-heads used to be able to marvel on the beauty that is the engine, now - all have the same boring plastic cover.
Best Urus Review I have seen so far. Most bang it around the track and the off course and come from there. - The Channel should have a Million Subscribers with its quality.
Great work as usual Harry thanks
To be honest I switched off when I saw where the emissions had relegated the "Hot V" to in the car. Ridiculous and sad. Regulations have already wrecked the look of front engine cars (See: Harrys 550 video), now they're wrecking the weight distribution and handling too. I'll come back and watch the rest later when I'm not so pissed off!
Prince Philip should get one, lower less likely to roll it ☺️
😭😭😭
Enjoyed watching this harry, great content once again 👍
Thank Harry for making another fantastic video
That vibration really grated on me
Best review on CZcams, as always :)
Yes, Harry is the best!
Good review Harry. Thanks for letting me know about the Uris. It's better than I thought. Thanks mate. Cheers, Jim.
Great review and very informative. Enjoyed it. More reviews like this please. Thanks.
hey harry, i was wondering what you do/did for a living? Just subscribed and i'm loving your channel! Heres hoping for some more bike content!
It really is time you looked at some current Alfas Harry! A similar review to this but with the Stelvio Quad would be very interesting. Most of the performance (and looks) at a third of the price.
The off road stuff is essential consumer advice by the way. Should be done even if you were reviewing a Giulia Quad. I would love to know how Pirelli Corsas behave on a grassy field.
Excellent review, you were having a great time, like a kid at Christmas, good stuff and awesome set of wheels. You couldn't hide the fact that the car was fun to drive, nice one !!!
Always great info, and real life experience. well done!
Harry the farmer, when are going to do a review on Lamborghini tractors?
Hoping you'd review the Portofino soon, really like the looks of it
Love the fact that it’s driven with flare and panache! Top job Harry 👌🏻
Fabulous review as allways!
It's a glorious station wagon. Motor sounds good. Looks useless off road due to ground clearance. Reminds me of BMW.
Is that a bonnet shut line or a turbo scoop?
Excellent video as always!
Fab review as always, thanks
Just saw a Urus for the 1st time 2 weeks ago, ang from far i could tell it was a Lambo!
The best looking supercar suv nowadays
The turn signals sound like those of my grandmother’s ‘71 Dodge Dart.
This is the most realistic urus review I have seen so far ! 👍
You took it off road!! I love it!
Smashing a lambo urus around a field 😂 love it! 👍
4:20 wow that's a nice looking piece of plastic, uuh engine.
Possibly yur best video! Great Job!
Wow!! Such a great review. Subscribed.
Most options cost as much as a Dacia Sandero Access.
And they will look just about as classy.
@@AB-80X don't slight the Davis like that!
I find its lack of body roll most impressive in a SUV.
Never clicked a video so quickly, top content
Was brilliant as usual very good video
I am not a fan of the SUV trend. Dont like the bulky looks that go with the SUV design in general. I like sedan style cars
I used to say the same, then with a family I bought an SUV and I find myself converted.
@@om606channel Apart from looks which are subjective, wagons are better in every way unless you need to go off-road. I don't know why people love SUVs so much, They're heavier, slower, worse on fuel, and usually have a smaller boot than an equivalent wagon.
SOIBand who cares? They don’t don’t take up any more room than a large estate or saloon and no one is forcing you to buy one.
@@stubones Jeez calm down. I just said I dont like em.
The more (sporty ones) there are, the more likely you're gonna get side swiped by someone doing 60 in a 30 in one, and will die (unless you also have an SUV).
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Harry, but I do get very frustrated with the audio quality - something I've mentioned before. It really isn't hard to fix - just a separate mic for voice and a tiny bit of work in editing. As things are, much of the middle of this video (the bits shot in the field) is rrrr rrr rrr from the engine and mumble mumble mumble from Harry. Harry is worth listening to, almost more than any other motoring journalist out there, and it's a shame that this lets the game down.
I've been bitching about that for years. I stopped watching over a year and a half ago a thought surely the cheap bastard would have coughed up a few pounds for a mic. No. He takes no pride in his "work" - he's just phoning it in.
@@1225KPH Heh heh I wouldn't be quite as harsh but yes I am a little perplexed as Harry uses a mic whenever he does the pre-auction walkabouts. And the audio then is superb, so why not for the regular episodes?
Jeeez you guys sound like a barrel of laughs. Great videos and Harry comes across so well. Never noticed the audio 🙄
@@1225KPH Yet here you are, watching his videos, replying to comments that need a lot of scrolling to get to.
@@samrit123in Can't you read? This is the first video I've watched in a year and a half only to find that Harry still hasn't bothered to use a proper microphone in the car. As for posting and scrolling, I'm not a lazy candy-ass like you.
One of the best reviews you have done - enjoyed that ! - the car makes you smile, priceless, perhaps you should, should you ? if you can, I think that would be an excellent daily for you - tone down in colour and a great daily driver !
Very Nice review. I like the car too. Thanks Harry!
Paying the best part of £200k for car with the same engine as an Audi estate car with a 60/40 front biased weight distribution is not good enough, sorry. If you like Lamborghini you'll love it anyway but I'll probably get a Stelvio QV
Sarkozy why? It would be slower than this and cost more.
this SUV is the equivalent of Ferruccio tractors, meaning it pays for the real cars, the sports cars
TD Immanuel Well it’s not. The new RS6 isn’t out yet and no other car has this engine yet.
Sarkozy There will never be a V10 version. Impossible in this platform.
TD Immanuel referring to the RS6 as “an Audi estate car” as some derogatory term makes you an idiot. There is nothing wrong with that 4.0l V8, it’s one of the best engines ever made. Added to that only a child would demand they put a giant NA engine in a modern SUV.
25:45 Well, I guess Lambo's origins are in farm machinery.
You are a perfect motoring journalist Harry as the very lovely grassy field with a slightish hill is the most off road a Urus will ever do.
Taking its occupants home from afternoon tea by the river, or a fox hunt!
Thanks Harry for this Great video. Did you have a audio upgrade? No wind noise outside very nice! Keep up the good work Harry thanks again!
When can we expect a full review of the alpaca's?
Not a fan or the SUV in general but since its harry testing it. 👍 on the video. 👎 on the lambo
ur crazy, best SUV to drive this earth
Harry, you've made a very good point about the right-hand shift paddle to put it into Drive: With any paddle-shift that is affixed to the steering wheel (which it should be for racing), in the city, it's almost impossible to locate the proper paddle when parking/reverse/drive/etc. These should be affixed to the steering column as it's a road vehicle. If they then wanted to use the right-hand paddle for Drive, rather than a centre console shift mechanism, it would work far better when you need to locate the right-hand paddle to select Drive.
Great work Harry!
I loathe SUVs. There is nothing they do better than "normal" cars other than look more aggressive to compensate for the owner's (well, the driver's, the bank usually owns the car) shortcomings.
Let's see you do that in a Huracan.
Jealous much
@@ariescustom
Why should I?
Nobody outside of car reviewers will ever take this car off road. There are much better options for off-roading at the fraction of the cost; as are on-road options. It is horribly compromised.
@@mattcarter7275
Not at all, I would never say the same about a Huracan or Aventador.
SUVs are inherently flawed and compromised.
"There is nothing they do better than "normal" cars" Clearly this does something far better than it's road-going Lambo stablemates. Just proving your jealous-ass wrong, is all. Have a nice day.
Question, does money grow on your trees??
A beautiful looking car. I'm so jealous at you thrashing it around in the field, looked like great fun.
Absolutely top review - watching it made me realise that the VAG group has been keeping its 'character' cupboard well and truly locked. Its definitely not used any of its stocks of character on any of the rest of its seemingly endless range of cars that occupy niches that no-one even knew about or cared existed. Instead its sprinkled it extravagantly on the Lambo with a bit dusted on to the Conti GT as well. If making cars as prosaic as the Tiguan and as low quality as the new Golf means VAG can release a few more cars like this into the wild, then it's a winning strategy. Great review, cracking car, I'd buy one tomorrow if I had the money.
Just gonna take the Lambo out for a spin in a field...LOL
An Oscar Wilde quote comes to mind whenever I see this car. Yet they are sold out. Fair play Audi. They must make £100k + profit on each one sold!
Cost = +/- the same to make as an Audi Q - I would say profit = more like 200K
It's refreshing to see you are just like the rest of us motorheads.... slinging around in a field having great fun....legend!
I love this car. Makes no sense but I would buy one if I had the money. It makes me smile.
I must admit I do wonder why motoring journalists do off road segments with cars like these any more, they long ago ceased to be off road vehicles, they are what they are, lifestyle vehicles for lifestyle people.
Yeah, people stopped driving the Urus off road back in 2016.
Actually that makes it all the more important to test them off road in my opinion. Having said that, I can't see anyone driving a Lambo SUV off road.
Because it's fun!
What's the difference between a lifestyle person and a normal person?
Harry is all lifestyle.
10 piston brakes? Here I am dreaming of upgrading to 4 pistons for my car...
It's more a field test, than a road test Harry. Great video, thanks.
Great review! I love the Urus..... got a CTT now, if only the price :-)
