I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Strayer University. I didn't experience any of the difficulties you mentioned.
Glad it worked out!
Thanks
I don’t have any issues yet
Strayer has worked great for me ! A little expensive but still good I have two semesters left before I graduate.
Good to hear a success story! 😄
Can you do a full video On CSU? you mentioned them In your 2024 Review. Can you do a deeper dive in another video? Thank you for all the information.
I'm glad you put this review! Before I knew about college hacking, I actually was going to go to strayer University. However, when I called to get more information about their programs, the advisor had poor customer service and he was incredibly rude. He did not sounded like he enjoyed working there, and almost sounded like he was yelling. Why would you talk that way if you want to get a student to give you money to attend the school? It just didn't make sense. I didn't know that they hadn't had an even worse reputation until now. Thanks! I decided to go with SNHU
Great choice on SNHU! Glad Strayer didn’t get their claws into you.
Awesome for you to cover this! One minor nitpick: while I still wouldn’t recommend them over others, one positive about Strayer is that they have their own in-house challenge exam series known (somewhat unoriginally) as the Strayer Challenge Exams. They’re similar in concept to the TECEPs, except their not calibrated to be used as transfer credit (a headache that it also shares with the ICE and the FUPE challenge exams). Taking out for obvious duplications of the CLEP and DSSTs, most of them cover Business and Criminal Justice courses. Still, boss review!
Great info, thanks for adding! 😄 It’s a shame so many schools that have in-house challenge exams don’t allow them to count for institutional credit.
Strayer and Capella were so close to being the "big ones" for CBE. They own Sophia! They need to lean into that more.
That would have been awesome, if they had leaned into it from the start. Just can’t imagine them giving up those profits willingly though.
@@CollegeHacked It's a shame because they have amazing instructors, and amazing courses. Capella would've been my choice for a doctorate, because of this, but, there were so many horror stories of Strayer/capella actually blocking you or making it harder even when you achieve it.
@@nickisashkir The OG GCUs, you might say. 😂 Though this last GCU audit did come back clean, so who's to say.
I’m looking to go to Strayer. I got the enrollment stuff done. I don’t want concern. I have his house is the classroom sitting I think we’re good on the financial aid portion. Just trying to get as much about the as possible. a friend of mine is going there while she’s already enrolled so we shall see how I would do
We don’t recommend it! There are much better schools that cost a lot less.
I went there good luck
I wish I never did the degree was worthless
@@dm-jf5uuwhy was the degree worthless? Don't u get a degree u feel has a good amount of worth lol?
Can you do a video on penn foster college? They are both nationally, ans regionally accredidated, they are for sure self paced, and can be started whenever for their bachelors in business management.
Penn Foster is actually only nationally accredited, so we recommend other schools :)
Binge watching your videos and I love it. I’m considering WGU, TESU and Bellevue University. What do you think about Bellevue University? Can you do a video about them?
They are actually on the list! There are less expensive options for most majors, but they have great transfer charts and seem like a great school without doing a deep dive yet :)
Looking forward to that video. Planning to take BS Data Analytics(WGU) or Data Science(TESU and Bellevue)
Bellevue is CBE?
Finishing up my degree with American Public University. I think it is in a weird spot because it is regionally accredited, but it's for profit. I transferred in 30 credits and have already been accepted into 2 not-for-profit graduate schools with my APU degree. I definitely feel there were better options looking back but I feel APU/AMU is far from the worst.
It’s awesome to hear success stories! And once you start a masters no one really cares much about the undergrad institution anyway, so the degree did its job 👍🏼
I heard some good and bad things about AMU/APU. It’s good for Associates and Bachelors, but their Masters degrees aren’t that good. I got accepted by them, but I don’t know if I should accept their offer. My end goal is to go to graduate school.
@@yessrob4077 Well I can only speak from my experience. With that said, I have not had any issues with getting accepted to any graduate schools through my BA degree. Other schools that I was considering but didn't apply to told me that they have no issues with my degree either. I guess it depends on what you want to do though. Best of luck!
Which site is better for someone with little to no comluter programming experience, study or sophia programming classes?
Sophia :)
I'm at my last class at UMPI and is having a tough time with Bus 489, can anyone help?
Try reaching out to your professor 😄
Strayer and Capella both give free Sophia if you fill out an application.
Good, they should! 😜 How much max?
@@CollegeHackedyou can transfer 126 out of 180 on a 4.5 credits per class scale. I transferred 126 credits .
@@javonphillips1904GOOD! That’s awesome. What was your total degree cost, if you’re willing to share! Ignore this if not 😉
@@CollegeHacked$13,500 I had to take 12 classes there 9 classes cost me $13,500 the last three will be free.
@@CollegeHackedThe rest of classes I transferred from my associate degree and the free Sophia classes strayer offers which is awesome !
If I only have a handful of college credits would it be a good idea to transfer to WGU for my bachelors without having a AS or AA ?
Definitely 😄 It’s almost always better to go straight for the bachelors when hacking :)
@@CollegeHacked would it be possible to set up a meeting

You guys should do a review on full sail university it’ll probably be the most worst university ever next to DeVry
The Strayer video had much less interest from our audience than the non-profit school videos we do, so we probably won’t do a Full Sail or DeVry video but we agree with your review 😂
They need to learn to stop scamming
