Oh my gosh, I feel this! I have much simpler taste than some journalers and don't necessarily want 5 layers of decoration on each side of every page. Most of the time, simple and lovely are all I need.

I love your ideas. I just started a French Blue journal for my daughter in law’s bday which is 20 days. She is due to have a baby 5 days after ( her first.)
I just need to make some things with the French book pages and found crème colored card stock at the thrift store just last night. Perfect timing to see a post from you.
