Yeah, it is very useful tool. Especially when masking track wheels for a tank. The price might put people off. Took me long enough to fund raise for the purchase. (Just kidding)
Seem they have improved the tool slightly since I got mine. I had to assemble it myself a bit more. The blade holding mechanism on my version is worse too. Mine didn’t come with the plastic storage case either, this is something they started to include recently with their tools… I’m still happy with it, though I find it difficult to find the centre of the circle so I sometimes cut outside the material. I got it mainly for cutting styrene but I can’t recommend it for that. The blade sometimes goes off track when doing that 😅
Yeah, I found it to be an indispensable tool now. I mostly use it for cutting masking tape. Agree that finding the center point is hard. Sometimes I don't know where it will cut and ended up with an incomplete circle. LOL.
@@cakeplagunplaplasticmodell8496 Yeah, the more expensive model has a center finder accessory (sold separately) - I couldn't really justify the price for that at the time... so I guess I am better off wasting masking tape, not that I use it super often - but still. :D Been thinking to buy hole punches instead, at least for styrene purposes. But I don't really need to make circles all that often...
@@cakeplagunplaplasticmodell8496 Also, there's a small round arrow near the black handle in the center which changes blade pressure. It's also pointing counterclockwise.
Helpful review, thank you! Subscription added.
thats neat, might need to get one

I would invest in something like a Silhouette or Circuit vinyl cutter. That way you can cut circles of any size, or any shapes that you want.
Great review but you need to spin it counter-clockwise for the best results. There's an arrow that shows which direction.
The instruction on the box says to rotate it counterclockwise while cutting, not sure why though.
It is funny my instruction doesn't have anything about that. But perhaps I should give it a try and see if it makes a different. Cheers.
