I have a .32 cal. Cva scout . I haven't shot it yet , because the ramrod it came with doesn't have a cleaning jag ( or any means to attach one ) . I don't have a range rod either .

How often should you remove the lock plate and do a complete tear down?

I’d love to this gun that you “cleaned” the following year your going to have rusted piece of junk. These guns will start rusting in 2 weeks after only having a shot ran through them.

You shouldn´t wait 2 Week after one shoot, you should do a basic-clean after some shots immediately .

It is a halfway decent clean. I probably only do a complete hair down. Maybe a few times Per year and I've never had an issue.

You did nothing to neutralize the sulfer before cleaning....this gun definitely has a rotten boar now
