I really really really reallly like this
Why are mealworms not a good idea?
Since making our original videos, the hedgehog carers have found that meal worms don't provide enough nutrients for a healthy hedgehog diet - but they are very addictive, taken in preference of other food. In this sense they are like junk food for hedgehogs! Eating only meal worms can lead to medical issues, including metabolic bone disease.
Do hedgehogs get eaten be foxes .
They can, but as far as we know they don't hunt them, but will happily eat any they find dead caused by other factors, e.g. cars.
