Classy manager, classy person. One of the greats. 22 years gone but never forgotten.
I'll always remember quotes like this! "You go up by the stairs, you go down by the lift, that's confidence" Arsene Wenger
Wenger is man who epitomizes class, elegance, sophistication and this is reflected in the technical style of play he created for Arsenal. Before him, Arsenal were known as 'Boring Arsenal' and Wenger revolutionised Arsenal and Football in England - bringing style and class. He lost his touch after Arsenal moved from Highbury to the Emirates but the man is a living legend.
Merci Wenger
he lost his touch when dein left.
Arsenal lost their ambition when Dein left.
*1-0 to the Arsenal!~* That chant is still being used even to this day since our boring days when we would only score 1-0 and shut up shop.
He lost his touch when Pat Rice retired.
He was still doing quite well during the early years at the Emirates we were actually quite unlucky with injuries
"No foreign manager has ever won the League title"
OMG things really changed in 20 years... Now English managers don't even exist anymore...
All because of this classy man started the change
@@joshnewell714 yes, name one which actually leads a good club.
Many years ago I used to think Arsenal was named after Arsene Wenger!Great video!
ARC football are people actually believed that? or just some tongue in cheek i wonder
yes I did when I didnt know much about football and was about 8 years old!
Me too bruh!!
I did believe at the start when I first heard his name.
My happiest moments in football were due to this man and I still can´t imagine Arsenal without Arsene, he´s all I´ve ever known. I´m forever grateful to him. Quelle Legende, Merci Arsene!!
Wenger is the only other manager I have become emotionally attached to, as a Dortmund fan him and Klopp live on in my memory, not sure why Wenger; show’s his greatness.
Im an arsenal fan and I remember our match against Dortmund I always thought klopp was cool and he use to give wenger loads of praise
One of the most loved coaches, his principles, values and affection for players will never be forgotten. For the Gotham of Arsenal, he was the true Batman- hated by many even at the end, but he was the hero we never deserved . Merci Wenger :)
Greatest manager of all time. There. I said it. But above all that, a beautiful human being.
Another day another masterclass
The video was too short really. Could have been just a bit more detailed.
It's weird not too see a grey old man again in the Emirates touchline, should get familliar with Loki i guess😕
Moz 10 hahahahahaha loki..that's why he looks so familiar haha
Moz 10 hahahahaa
Class is permanent
As a United fan, other than Sir Alex, I think Wenger is the finest manager we've ever seen. Although Pep and Mourinho have just as many titles in less time, the way Wenger was able to maintain a consistent quality of football for over twenty years speaks to his genius. Pep and Mourinho can leave clubs after 4-5 years, but it takes quite a bit more to sustain success
He may have faded as manager in his final years but he will remain a pioneer of British football, setting the philosophy for many successful foreign coaches in PL today. A man whose grace knew no bounds, will be always indebted to him for being the most successful ever Arsenal manager✌️thank you arsene. Hope he has a good time managing his next club
It feels honestly weird, arsenal was arsene
Nicholas Wang no he wasn't the club will continue.
@@MrBark1969 didnt age well
@@bena8805 in what way Lol?
MrBark45 you’re not very good.
@@reecewafc1866 neither is anyone else bar city and liverpool
Visionary. Cool, calm. Learned. A gentleman. What a manager. Best Arsenal ever had. Certainly one of the best of the Premier League along with Sir Alex Ferguson. What rivalries they had. Miss those days. I wish him only well in his onward ventures. Merci Arsene.
Great video as always! Great manager and will always be remembered . One of the most inspiring people alive . Thank you for this wonderful work 😍❤️
One Arsene Wenger!
Thank you Le Prof for making me fall in love with football and Arsenal.
Such a short and dispiriting video for a man who did so much for Arsenal even after 2004. This does not do him justice
Merci Arsene, started following the club in 01 when I was in 5th grade so Arsene has always been Arsenal to me. I was so gutted to see him go.
Class from Tifo 👏🏼 thank you
I still refer them as UMaxIt in my head, always takes me a sec to know who's tifo.
your videos never disappoint. keep up the great work 👍🏼
🙌Music & content on point, best football channel.
When bayern munich came wenger told them he had a contract to fulfill just like when he told no to Real Madrid TWICE when he was incharge of the Arsenal. Do your homework better next time!
Real madrid offered him a place as manager? What year? Galacticos Era?
Kostas Kostas yh around 2008
@@zubeyr7392 after galacticos Era then...
Kostas Kostas no there was 2 galacticos eras so yh
@@zubeyr7392 no pussy listen up
Only one Era period!
😠😠
He's going to go down as one of the most prominent figures in football history. Request tifo to explore the changes he's brought about since taking up his role at FIFA.
You people are amazing great video
Thank you sir!
Maybe he wasn't so successful in the last years of his career but he surely gave us the best premier league matches of all time if you go and watch the best premier legaue matches of all time Arsenal is in more than 50% of them. I wasn't an Arsenal fan but when they played under Wenger i always watched the games for me he is the greatest of all time becuase no matter what he always played beautiful football.
Just cannot believe that Mr Wenger is not manager of Arsenal...
Why did you treated the 7 FA Cup wins as nothing important as even if they are not important as only winning PL they are a fine achievement as this will never be done again
Loved the vid but there was a misspelling in the last few seconds on the “Ferguson has his horses.” quote in the speech bubble
I have a great amount of respect for Monseiur Arséne Wenger, he has managed Arsenal since before i was born, im 21 by the way, and its sad to see his reign come to a disappointing end. I hope to see more of him in the coming years, always a gentleman, respectful, a fantastic manager and an even more fantastic man. #MerciArséne
Unforgettable man
Been subscribed to you guys since you were at 20,000 subs. Love your content!!
Super documentary!!!!👏👏👏 Do an Unai Emery one next, for the new Arsenal Head Coach!!! 😉😉
Legend of the game. No matter all the jokes and bashing I was truly blessed to have watch him coach arsenal
He wasn't the same once they left Highbury but man this guy was a beast. The way he developed players was amazing.
Pls do a video of Unai playing style at Arsenal with the current players and possible IN's for the system he plays. Thank you
*Nice video*
I used to believe that Arsenal was named after him
Arsene is in football~maybe he go back to France or Japan again
He won France the WC. Is he shit now?
@@velygritte2701 he won them ?
How brother
Long live Mr Wenger we will always love you, he has been a father to a whole generation
Any video coming up about how Emery will go about following in the great professor's footsteps?
Umm, excuse me? A couple of so-so years in Japan? Do you have any idea the impact he had on the league there?
Rex Longfellow I actually have no clue what he did in Japan and that's a shame. Good point

"You are the reason I became an Arsenal Fan"
Thanks tifo. . .
I think the way you described his period at Arsenal after 2004 was unfair. I don’t think Arsenal will be where they are without him keeping our core values and position stable during the emirates build era. He could have easily won several trophies in other places, but he chose to stay at Arsenal and make sure we survive the period the right way. This describes his principles as a person, which is just as important in a video about his football life.
He is so classy, he makes me want to eat french fries with silverware and red wine.
I miss you Arsene
Arsenal was Arsene. It's like he was named after the team or vice versa.
Background of Unai Emery next?
When can we expect World Cup preview there are certain teams I want to understand in terms of playing style Peru haven't been there since 82 etc want to know how they were able to get out of what I consider to be the most difficult qualifying group
Does anyone know how to make these videos? What software is being used here?
Merci Arsene!
I think this men had perfect the art of financial starvation. Season in and out he spent less than other top 6 clubs yet still able to compete with them.
I love this man. I mean, who doesn't?
Anyone ever think it was odd how the first 6 letters of his name are the same as the first 6 letters of the club?
Millennials must have thought he was founder and CEO, and named it after himself.
I'm a millennial :( but fortunately not American so I'm not completely stupid :D
Unay Emery
Unay Emirates
Can you do a brief history of Unai emery or another iconic players video please ?
Have a look through our ‘Brief History Of’ playlist or ‘Iconic Players’ playlist
Video on Unai Emery and what we can expect next season please?
a sack :(
Tifo Football does not tell the whole story of what Wenger has won so let me say it. Like Klopp Who Won Trophies At Borussia Dortmund Before coming to England, Arsene Wenger has won two trophies at AS Moncao the Coupe de France which is like the FA Cup in England & then French Ligue 1 Title which is like the Premier league in England. After that Wenger Moved to Japan For a Year in 1995 Where he won the J-league title & then came to Arsenal England in 1996. So Basically Arsene Wenger has Won Trophies Which ever country he has been in France, Japan & England.
What about a preview for Croatia for the world cup? For example, how they play, the impact of the stars in their team, strengths and weeknesses, how they peformed in previous tournaments and what you guys think how they are going to perform this tournament? Maybe a secret favorit fot the WC 2018?
It’s all coming in the lead up to the WC. We will be profiling each team, within each group. Kicks off next week
Great to hear! Can´t wait for it, love your videos, keep going.
I like George Graham's Metal Moshpit hand.
god i miss you Arsene so much
Great football manager, and a great video.
Thank You Arsene Wenger.
"No foreign manager has ever won the English League Title". Can't believe that used to be a thing in England because now its no English ever manager has ever won the league since the Premier League was formed
This video is a bit vague on a lot of parts of his Career. Especially after the stadium being built and why the players left and why he chose to stay when he himself could've left for Real Madrid or other clubs while all this was happening.
class
A few typos... Feruson, Caviar..Otherwise good !
The video was 4:42 minute long
442 was the same formation he used to go invincible
can we get a history of the Derby team that only got 11 points.
Merci wenger thanks for the invincibles 👍
"My mum's Wenger in. Is she mad?! "
Famous last words
Longer video asap
Just a more detailed preview of World Cup teams playing styles etc
I want wenger to be the manager of barca plzzz he has the capability to make barca great again he can do it and i want him to be the coach of barca
Worst thing that ever happened to Wenger was that back four gradually retiring in the early 2000s. Once that backbone went, he left himself with a string of skilled but soft sides.
Wow I never knew Cruyff could’ve been Arsenal manager
Some doesn't have a good footballing career bt end up being a successful manager
Can you please do Troopz and Claude from arsenal fan tv: A Football Life/Brief History Of
Arsenal won the league in 2001-02, but not the FA Cup (lost to Liverpool in the final). Unless you meant 2000-01, in which case Manchester United won the league.
Arsene Wengers career is a football tragedy and a lesson to all managers
Lord
I miss him :(
Are were the same size as Aston Villa,Everton and Leeds United Arsene Wenger changed that don't none of the crazies fool you otherwise. Do not ever ;Small time' him
MrAllenm94 We won the league twice (10 titles overall) and a European trophy just years before he came manager...
I'M A CHELSEA FAN BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT ARSENE WENGER IS ONE OF THE BEST MANAGERS OF ALL TIME GOODBYE ARSENE
❤️❤️❤️
❤😍
Never should have left. Bring back Monsieur
I thought he was gonna take over at Real Madrid. That would have been interesting
Arsene for UEFA President!!
Well he refused real Madrid and they really wanted to give him a special permanent type of management like arsenal long term especially after arsenal beat the real side with Raul zidan r9 Figo Carlos etc.
Real Madrid that time would of definitely given him a different type of contract unlike any other manager with special status but he refused and stayed with arsenal.
Wow so early
Not signing ronaldo was a big mistake .. for me it is the biggest mistake ever made by manager in football history
Classy guy at a not so classy club
nickUK88 Arsenal are literally the English club that epitomises class
Who's here after Juventus signed him?
People question the Invincibles season given Arsenal lost to Premier League sides in cup competition. Is that a view you share?
A96oaye People just don’t like to give credit where credit is due. Though one thing I’d like to point out is that this year many teams ALMOST went invincible, especially FC Barcelona. Had Barcelona not lost they would have won league AND cup undefeated which would have diminished Arsenals Invincible’s accomplishments. So the question is, are we in the foreseeable future going to see more teams undefeated or was this season just a coincidence? I guess we’ll just have to see.
World class manager.
You forgot FA cup winners 2015-17
It’s Mark Hate - ley. Not Hatly
