I would like to get some BTS here.
Cause my hot take is that from info from last year that there was some kind of rift between Less and Aspas about Less accusing Aspas as not being committed enough (don't remember the source), and Aspas leaving because of that eventually. And now Less not performing and Aspas pulling ridiculous numbers. So it could be just getting rid of a toxic element in the team.
But it's just a speculation.
If the rumors of Less leaving LOUD are true, it will mark the end of an era, with Saadhak becoming the only remaining member from LOUD's original inception.
QCK is understandable, he’s the sole duelist for the team and had absolutely 0 impact in both maps. It’s a team game, but him simply just not doing enough, on a multitude of occasions now, it almost looks like he’s a T2-3 player right now. But LESS is CRAZY. That man is one of the backbones of the team, and definitely more consistent than a couple of others on the team. That’s really unfortunate if true. LOUD isn’t going to be considered a major contender anymore with these benches/drops, cuz who are you picking up that’s even close to replacing Less?

Team inspirers like Zellsis and Boostio are definitely what VCT needs right now. Boostio's potential is a great driving force behind 100T's resurgence. 100T really has a chance to reach the Masters Shanghai.

The Bind map for 100 thieves vs loud is a lot more dominant when you consider that loud won both pistols, meaning they only won two actual gun rounds
100T lose to many pistols, if they can start winning atleast 50% consistently they will be hard to beat.

Loud said it's because of "financial issues" but I feel like it's got more to do with his team chemistry he was known to not have the best relationship with sacy, pancada and aspas so maybe its happening again

i wonder if because of this loud is gonna sign parts of Hero Base (brazilian challengers league team that won stage 1). i know they trialed DGzin and it didnt work out because of a similarly strong personality (maybe a clash between DG and Less who knows but it wasnt a good formula nonetheless) and a lack of flexibility, but i feel like grabbing dgzin for qck's entry spot now that he can play raze and either moving qck to viper (which he played on Furia) or picking up Pancc to fully slot in the place of Less. i think most of the teams issues come from losing frod anyway but if changes need to be made then i think this will provide the best (at least short term) performance

When the league play pools are randomly chosen and the format mandates that 1 team from each pool makes the tournament it leaves a pretty big possibility that one of the top 3 teams don't make the tournament.
You got a point but the league pool wasn’t randomly selected.
They went by seeding from Kickoff I believe, #1 team in group Alpha, #2 in group Omega, #3 in Alpha, #4 in Omega, etc.

Last year's regular season playoffs format for Tokyo was so much better. I don't understand why they changed it.
they have two splits this year and they can't have every team fight each other like last time due to time.
there will never be a format in anything ever that will guarantee the absolute best coming out on top, that's just not possible when dealing with human error
Formats aren't meant to deliver the best 3 teams. That's not how any sport works it's about who shows up on the day

This is just how any format works. All sports have the issue where the second best or even potentially the best team simply doesn't make it. This is not a valorant issue. It's because there is no perfect format.
Edit: Also Less has had many rumors surrounding him that he is hard to work with and is a major reason for Aspas leaving. I personally believe it is true.
I feel like if they want to drop Less, they HAVE to pick up Pancada. Since Pancada can play the same roles as Less. But tbh the best scenario is drop QCK for Pancada and run a double controller comp again (idk if this is viable at a pro level) or let Less run duelist.

Players like less need to ensure they have bench clause in their contract so they are paid the same even if they are on the bench.
he is by fair their best player , but from all the rurmos ( granted they're rumors, but multiple people spoke bout it ) he has been a problem, he had problems with sacy &pancada back in 2O22, problems with aspas last year and he had an issue with their ex coach fRod that caused him to be kicked from LOUD

Im pretty sure less was a driving factor behind everyone leaving loud, sacy and pancada, aspas, bzka and frod, hes just not worth keeping around.
Yall doubting loud with less going out. Less sure is great, but there are many great rookie players out there. Loud could just be like C9 entirely with new rosters, and keep looking strong. Rossy is a rookie, plays viper and he's just as strong as other viper players like nats, mako, and less.
So basically, Loud is dead cause C9 have been mid their entire existence in VCT.
I love how everyone is talking that without double elimination you can't be sure that the "best" team won.

And of course traditional sports must also be fraudulent to the core since almost all of them are single elimination. Except of pool, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing that use double elimination.
But remember - no sport/esport is as fair as curling. They use triple elimination. Just to be doubly sure.
A lot of sports have either functioning league formats where winning the league means something or have more than 3 tournaments in a year that matter. I would probably like double elim in tennis if there were only 3 grand slams and no other tournaments. I would probably like double elim in the Champions League (football/soccer) if the teams only played 5 games in their leagues and it then came down to tie breakers and a wonky playoff format to decide who actually went to the Champions League.
The problem in Valorant is that teams that don't qualify to international tournaments barely get to play at all. Having your entire year decided by one or two games that truly matter is crazy.
I know right. The better teams did go through. All the Madrid teams apart from one made it to playoffs from Shanghai. Maybe the teams who did well last year are not the teams doing well this year. Let's be happy for the teams who do well. Tired of the format narrative
Single elimination is fine, but double elimination will always be better because the consistency of a team needs to be rewarded.

Idk, I personally think Lock in was the most fun to watch due to single elimination. We can also argue when given a lot chances bad team will just get their “one good day” and beat a good team. All in all I think format is completely fine and people need to stfu or provide a better way to organize a 11 team group.

Now do I wanna watch triple elimination brackets? No. But double elimination is certainly better to determine the best team than single elimination. Doesn’t mean traditional sports are fraudulent but most traditional sports have people performing at the highest level physically and mentally, so something like double elimination brackets in traditional sports means an even longer season with more games and a higher possibility of injuries. It ain’t really worth it then but it’s easier to do it in esports.

That's a crazy take. America's Latam teams are both looking hella strong. I'd say America's and Emea are about the same. Lev and Kru are looking like the strongest coming outta America's while Emea would probably be FUT and Heretics.
