thanks! i found i was doing the same lines as you. however. i wasn't down shifting to first gear on a couple of those turns. which makes sense watching it now. since my exits are lackluster. cant wait to try this. best ive been able to do is 56s im ready to shave 3s off

man ive been playing a race simulator for only a couple of days now after buying a wheel and pedals for the first time... I had the lines right, was struggling with break points and gear changes! This helped a lot thank you!

Enjoyed the video, but disagree with your assessment of the track. It may seem simple, but in reality it's one of the most thoughtful tracks we race. It's fast, and can be extremely satisfying when you finally get the flow!
Thanks for commenting. I’m not a fan of super-short tracks. I do think it’s a good circuit for something like the Vee, though. Have fun!

The disparity between how Finding Speed makes this look and how it looks when I try it, can not be overstated. God I have such a LOOONG way to go.
Edit: is there a way I can get that view on tge bottom right? It seems to me that finding the Apex, and my spacial awareness would be sp mucj more cofortable
Hi Mark. You should’ve seen my first lap!
This is a terrible track TBH, but watch the wheel / pedal inputs carefully - some corners building throttle slowly, others hard. Same with steering. You’ll get a feel for balancing the car and pointing it where you want it to go with throttle and brake release. No exterior view in live races BTW - that’s not the sim racing way 🏁
@@FindingSpeed I got my Optimum down to 55.663 if I can link up the run that would be incredible, realistically I'm able to put up 57s-58s pretty consistently. I think I'm going to start trying to race this week. Nervous to get on track with everyone else.
