Right there with the small block Chevy and the LS engine, I agree. The K20/24 are some of the best engines. Reliable, plentiful/fairly cheap, make great power, huge after market support, small and light package. I would say the transmission is also one of the best. Robust great shifting 6 speed with many limited slip options (factory and aftermarket).

You must be joking. When a car is 200k plus you tend not to drive 90%. It’s not even a close comparison if driven at both same levels
A GT4 destroys almost any honda except a k24 miata or exocet.

The car is fantastic, but this is more driver skill than anything else! If the driver lacks reflexes plus nerve, their would be no overtaking.

This era Honda are gems. Light weight, double wishbone front suspension, and probably the biggest aftermarket support. LOL this is kind of a basic built Integra (as in anyone could build this in their driveway -which is part of the charm) and it dominated that session. I would bet pricing on this era (Civic , Integra, 2nd gen CRX, etc.) will just go up from here as time goes on. Great driving and excellent car. Though you seem to rubbing a bit, would scare me.

Yep i did! Back to back on this trip even. They are faster yes but also less feel on heavier cars with sidewalls. I prefer the CR-S nowadays

Nice. Why the Porche driver yield?
Each and every driver has different goals when they enter the track and therefore has different amount of risk which they are willing to take.
This is very clearly touristenfahrten, seeing bikes and varieties of cars are mixed together, meaning this is not a race session. Sometimes people just want to enjoy. Porsche driver gave way, they put blinkers on, I think, because they wasn't willing to take any more risks competing, or thought they might be unnecessarily blocking the Integra(camera car)'s way cos many people do time attacks even if it isn't according to the track's regs, and I'd think its a courteous thing to do to not mess up another person's lap. People do get into near accidents and arguments in the parking area over blocking... if they havent crashed into one another, so giving way is one way to keep the feel good energy and avoid drama.

Hey, upshift is mostly knowing your clutch pedal / throttle pedal travel, and being quick
For the downshifts, rev matching / heel&toe is a really important thing to do while driving on track, it helps you staying on the same rpm when downshifting, making it smoother and faster
practicing for years. you can't master that overnight
heel/toe and rev matching. It is starting to be a lost skill with the auto blip these days and barely anymore manuals left to buy. Even my track buddies in the states are loosing their skill because of the auto blip. Max Verstappen cannot drive a 6speed manual. He never learned to drive one, all paddle shift.

Good for track, useless in real life
Everything that is allowed on the nordschleife with TF is registered and you can use in real life, but not great as a daily ofc 😅 i often drive it in the weekends for fun. Obv will trade it for the 992 every day 😛 but ringtools arent hardcore track cars as you suggest tbh.
