As an Iowa fan, I miss this version of Wisconsin football. Even though my hawkeyes kept losing to the Badgers, the big ten is a better conference with Wisconsin competing each and every year for the championship. Here's hoping Luke Fickell can get them back on track in 2024!
Man, the last couple years have been complete dominance from Bucky. They know their game, and they execute almost flawlessly. 2018 will be a special year.
Anthony Edwards I think Berger will supplant Watson by the midway point of the season.. I don’t think he’ll be JT2k every year but He will produce for sure
@@jonasrhude2325 I honestly don't know why people thought we would be good in 2018. Like yeah 2017 was great but we lost most of our defensive starters, which is the core to our game. Without our elite defense we aren't that good. However, I think we're in for something special from 2021-2023 and beyond
There is a reason why bowls like to select Wisconsin. Their fans are well known for traveling well. Though it certainly helps that Miami is a destination city (I went to the Cotton Bowl a few years back and it wasn't well attended because who wants to go to Dallas for a vacation?).
Man it sucks that they blew their shot that year by losing to Ohio State. The two seasons in which Wisconsin seemed like the better team between them and the Buckeyes (2011 with Russell Wilson, 2017), Ohio State beat the Badgers head to head. Those two years were the Badgers best chances to compete for a national championship, but three gut wrenching losses between the two seasons prevented that from happening.
Love to see Miami get smacked in the mouth. However...I think new HC Manny Diez will get them back to natty champ playoff status. As for my Noles with Willy Taggert at the helm as HC, no bowl game in 2018 for the first time in 30 yrs, not looking too bright in Tally until he's gone. JMO...Willy is in over his head.

There were more Wisconsin fans at that stadium than Miami fans. That should be logistically impossible and yet it still occurred.
