This is a very good part, because Miss Jessica Lange is also nominated for it 13 yrs later, and am sure she will win tomorrow.

Now that is gratitude & class. I was starting to get upset because we Americans are so generous in giving our awards to Foreign actors...and in recent years a few have bad mouthed us before the night was even over. Ms. Redgrave, we salute you! God bless!

Vanessa Redgrave, a renowned figure, encountered significant backlash around fifty years ago. Her career suffered repercussions when she fearlessly produced a documentary highlighting the injustices inflicted by Israel upon the Palestinian people. Despite facing severe criticism, she stood firm, refusing to retreat from her stance.

Medea is an old Greek Play. No- NOt from the 20th Century like the 1950's, but I believe from BC times.

She always gives terrible, plodding acceptance speeches.

At least she didn't reference 'Zionist hoodlums' this time.

Strange people hugging her and preventing her from getting up and get her bloody award.
