One month after buying the ULX, I have not felt any side flexing being that I haven’t received the mouse yet. But I’ll keep you guys posted if anything changes when I get a shipping notification!
this made me giggle lol
kek
This should be pinned, lmao
I ordered the first batch on August 1st and made them refund me after waiting 5 months after receiving no update on shipping and just excuses after excuses
Good luck! Hopefully you can receive your order before summer 2024.
Absolutely no issues with mine so far either! ☺️ (It is in a FinalMouse assembly area in a building on a different continent)
It’s crazy that its already been a month
Time flies when you are finalmouse gaming
Got a WL Mouse Mini ordered can’t wait to see your video on it.
I ordered a batch 2 edition of the ULX I can’t wait to try it. I loved my SL-12 Last Legend, I think I got really lucky on its build quality. The only part of it I had to replace is the dongle is because micro usb sucks. Hoping the same with my ULX
Just got my batch 1 back from RMA. Side flex is much reduced so we’ll see how it holds up over time.
Noticed the exact same thing with my ULX with the grinding feeling on my left click on day one.
Any issues with the scroll wheel registering scrolls in the opposite direction? Ordered a large ULX and the scroll wheel on the tenz mouse was a massive pain in the ass
Thanks for this. I have one preordered. How would you compare this to the Ninjusto Sora 4K in terms of build quality?
my lot #1 unit was flexing and creaking so bad. I RMA'd it and it DID fix it but only temporarily. its been about 3 weeks since I got the mouse back from the repair and it's flexing/creaking again 😭. Maybe not as bad as when I first got the mouse, but its definitely present.
Finalmouse to the usual shenanigans. SHOCKING
Gerald Brown Rating:
Well, I think 1 month of gaming is good and this gets a 9/10!
thank you gerald
We love you Gerald Brown!!!!!
bought the cheetah guardian hopefully the shell is fully intact 🙏🏼🙏🏼 W video keep it up man videos help a lot and inspired me to get a artisan pad and it’s definitely worth it best mouse pad i’ve ever used
When did you order the new zebra wlmouse? When was that batch created?
I enjoy using mine, going from super light to the ULX felt really good. I haven't had any issues either.
What difference did you notice? Besides weight
@@en_vy polling rates definitely in a 280hz monitor otherwise it's slightly tighter and feels slightly more precise
bullshit for sure @@hawkf9199
I’d upgrade from a super light but I bet I can’t afford it or it’s sold out
@@casedistorted its gonna have releases every few months just wait for it
Looks like a really nice high-quality mouse. I enjoying the vid
No side flex on my ULX either, its been pretty damn solid, lot#2.
How do you know what lot you have? Just from the time you ordered it?
@@thinkforyourself5672 Yeah and also by the serial number, I was part of the first batch that was delayed till the very end (until the batch 2 drop).
I have a lot 2 unit and out the box it had that post travel grinding issue on the left click. It was terrible. I fixed it by unscrewing and then retightening some of the screws for the clicks.
Yeah I figured there is some type of DIY fix for it, interesting
@@boardzy I had to retighten the one screw that holds both clicks as well as the screw that only holds each side of the clicks. The one that holds both is a small phillips type and the one that holds just one side is some kind of torx or pentalobe, cant remember.
I have this too on the left click of my batch 2 unit I got a couple days ago, really annoying so I think I'll try taking it apart and reassembling like you suggest
thx for the informative video mate!
Yo, my logitech Superlight has a problem with the side button because i hold it a lot. What mouse would you prefer to get because it's very stressing to play with a broken mouse and i don't think i can wait for the new ULX batch
hey man, can you review the new skypad's skates?? I think a lot of us, glass paders will watch it. If you will do that review, can you also mention if those are good with other glass pads? Such as Superglide XL and so on, and also how many dots should be applied on the mouse??
I didnt feel like rma-ing mine but my sides are so squishy, I have a 1st drop ulx gaurdian. As well as the scroll wheel doing phantom scrolls, truly unfortunate that my mouse is like holding a kiwi.
Limbo scrolling? Makes me want to cancel.
I had a horrible experience RMAing Scream mice that were essentially all broken.
I would definitely rma if mine was that bad. I haven’t had any scroll issues like that though, I saw RJN did
I did an rma for mine and got it back in 1 1/2 weeks. I would do it if I were you. Fixed my side creaking for me and the shipping was free of charge so no downsides to doing it.
My batch 1 ULX had some really bad side creak and was phantom scrolling like yours but i rma'd and got mine back within about a week (I live in california so shipping didn't take long). I'd recommend if you order something in the future and the box isn't too big keep it and use it to rma the mouse. When i got mine back it was super solid on the sides and phantom scrolling is gone.
@@victorrivera9974Did they do anything about the exposed adhesive on the bottom for you?
Boardzy pls help me out im comfortable with the viper ultimate what should i buy if ever? Does the lion or tiger fit me better? Thanks
A boardzy video without windows notifications isn't a boardzy video
Hmm insightful review as always
SEEKING ADVICE: I currently use a gpro superlight but it is wearing out and need to replace. I have a X soft artisan pad that has no issues.
In looking for a replacement, I am seriously considering the g502x lightspeed with glass skates. Ive heard mixed things, should I get it?
Some context for why I’m thinking g502. First, i used to use one of the super heavy lightspeed first gen ones and i loved the extra buttons for R6 (my main game). I also find that I struggle with unintended micro adjustments so i figure a slightly heavier mouse will help with that.
Is g502x lightspeed with glass skates on a xsoft mousepad a good idea?
haven't tried glass skates but sounds decent. i have a g502 x lightspeed and its great, it was a bit heavy but i managed to lighten mine by 17g. its my go to mouse when i need more buttons on my mouse for a game. i use the final mouse ulx when i don't need to use many buttons
Hi boardzy,
I have a lot 1 mouse (bought it during your stream, thx a lot btw), and I also have the click issue that you describe, however for me its on the left mouse button 😢. I contacted Finalmouse but no answer from them yet.
How does the click or the switch compare to the tenz starlight edition?
im a fan of the grip tape for the sides! cant stand the hexagons in my fingers
Boardzy WLmouse release new mouse a mini version video soon?
Yeah I think they're gonna send it out in a few weeks
Still waiting for mine from batch 2, so excited but can't do anything else than wait.
Same, pretty depressing to wait this long for something you spend so much on. As long as it’s improved in quality, I suppose I’m okay with waiting. 🥲
is it worth getting from the starlight 12 or not that much better?
Mine broke a couple months in, the scroll wheel encoder scrolls upward with no input and also when I scroll down which makes the mouse basically unusable
boardzy do you think BT. L skates are good? ice v2s are sold out everywhere for the gpx2
btl are better than ice
go for them for sure
i just slapped old zowie skates on ulx, feels perfect
Boardzy what are your in game settings on Fortnite since you are using 3200dpi?(X/Y, ads, and scope?)
1% sens lmao the lowest it goes. Around 40% ADS and scoped I believe
MM7201 2 YEARS UPDATE!: It's still flawless
I have one the fix I did for the tape was I cut out a bit of vinyl wrap that just goes over that rectangle
It's thin enough that it's not going to interact with the skates
How do you keep those side holes super clean? I feel like after a decent amount of time like dust or dirt/grime kinda builds up in the sides for me and its always a pain to clean
Wipe it with a microfiber cloth everytime you are done using it for the day.
I’d like one man, I don’t have a final mouse but they look good and looks like they perform well
I just started using mine and after updating the mouse it does not hold charge. It dies after like 1 hour
I might be in the minority, but my ulx hasn't had any issues. The only issue I had was the long waiting times I had to wait to get it
yo guys! i just bought the Finalmouse Starlight Pro TenZ Small for 140 euro. did i make a good purchase or nah?
Wondering if it’s better to stick to 1000mhz polling or 2000mhz , cuz i know for a fact that 4000mhz is causing input lag in return. Thougts ?
Like on your system? Use whatever performs best with the least drawbacks
After the first 2 hours of using my mouse it was flexing so badly i had to open it up and glue everything in place.
What skates would you use with an Artisan Zero FX soft?
Stock for sure. Using a pad like the gsr se rouge is more for corepad.
The wlmouse tabbing you out of game is because of the software. Closing the software in the background solves the issue for me.
I bought the HTX Ace and after 3 months it completely died on me. I tried to contact their companies support to resolve my issues and I was banned from their discord. Might invest into the ULX seems like the perfect lightweight mouse.
My HTX 4k has been near perfect for around a year now, but I will admit the battery life seems to gotten worse in the last month and I have the larger battery installed. Just Preordered a WL Mouse Mini I would check it out if you struggle to get your hands on a ULX
If you paid through paypal you can dispute the charge
i didn't get any grips with my copy for some reason. But please tell i'm not the only one, this ULX is UNUSABLE without grips :(
i got my ULX today, i love it.. but the scroll wheel is just shit. idk why they made it all plastic and not rubber. and its so much stiffer than my TENZ mouse. i wanna swap it out.
I'm using the starlight-12 / phylina s450 as my current ftip mains but im looking for something larger, any suggestions?
Lamzu maya, g-wolves htx, beast x
@@peebeemm sorry, I'm looking for something **larger** and those mice are all basically the same size as what im using right now
If you had to choose between ULX and Viper Mini SE which would you pick
Ulx, viper is to expensive
Anyone know when batch 2 is shipping?
Can you review the Darmoshark m1 please?
i got hte superlight and i hate the shape.Thinking of getting an op1we
Is it a good mouse ? Maybe I’ll get one but who knows i still have a decent mouse
scroll wheel died for me on this mouse. i play alotta apex legends that requires alot of scrollwheel for movement, and its dead. havnt found one that lasts longer than my zowie and vaxee honestly.
What size is this one?
Usb 3.0 host controller and root usb 3.0 assign to their own cpu core to reduce usb interference and improve latency - iterrupt affinity policy tool.
ARE PEOPLE able to claim warranty for these flex or creeks?
Flexing 100%. Not sure about more minor click grinding/wobble but anything major they will fix
Boardzy, im a claw girp gamer trying to find a best mouse should i buy this?
Probably not bc it's literally always out of stock and when it is in stock it's like a super limited preorder type thing. If you're interested in this one try the WLmouse. It's actually in stock right now. Idk if it's good for claw tho but I've heard it's good for fingertip. Pulsar X2V2 is supposed to be good for claw and a pretty good mouse in general.
Lamzu Atlantis mini. One of the best mice for claw and mine has held up well and their customer support is very good if you run into any issues
Boardzy, i'm a left handed gamer trying to find a good mouse. What mouse should I buy?
Pulsar X2a actually exists, I havent tried it but thats the only release I can think of in the past 3 years lmao
@@boardzyit has GPW-style magnetic removable side buttons too
Viper ultimate if you don’t mind it being 70+grams. Same viper shape as always and the build quality is nice
i gave finalmouse a 30 day headstart and got my wlmouse first anyways
Shocking!!
My skates sucked they were so sticky and barley moved and I switched them to model o glass skates and it’s really good I I use lower dpi now because it’s very fast
Let's keep in mind this a mouse made of injected reinforced plastic FRP with carbon fiber.
if you close the wlmouse software in the background it will stop tabbing you out in fortnite. Had the same problem
Based ty
I had finalmouse Poseidon , left click button began double clicking within 5 months of normal desktop use. 20 years of using all gaming mice think Duke Nukem 1, boomslang to viper mini. Their repair stipulations seemed hokey to me. To get it fixed you must send it back to them but agree to their terms. If they deem it must be cleaned for $20 and you say no they ship it back to you broken. It did not perform any better or worse than a $30 Viper mini. Maybe they use cheap parts or bad luck, I babied that mouse and it failed.
Shocking
So are you giving away a ULX?
where do you do the giveaways boardzy?
Almost always twitter. I used to do them on here but many went unclaimed and it was more messy
W boardzy
How to wing giveaway for mouse?
Batch 1 - have a good amount of side flex and creaking. It's annoying but not that big of a deal in normal use. Waiting to upgrade to the Cheetah

Hey can u do more keyboard content as well as mouse?

i want a guardian tiger so freaking bad but don't have the money 😢
Does it has mechanical switches or still silicone switches??
Silicone switches? It has omron 20ms mechanical
@@boardzy wow so we can switch this switches with something like the viper mini or viper ultimate bro this could be the best mouse ever by far😈🔥
Boardzy you gotta review the nick eh 30 mouse lol
i dont really like my ulx medium. its light but idk it just feels bad. scroll wheel is too slipery. not sure on the shame personally.
new boardzy zebra mouse drop????
bro rlly missed out on the 1 yr joke
Oh my god Im a noob
batch 3 cheetah. prob will receive in march but whatever haha
How is the glazing going?
i will just 3d print my own shell out of the same material lmao
I dont know why anyone would overpay for a Final Mouse when the Viper v2 pro exists. The Viper is cheaper and I can have one at my door tomorrow whereas FinalMouse is near impossible to get if it breaks. Too much fomo around FinalMouse.
But the finalmouse has better features, and I still have the mouse I had previously or the option of buying something mainstream if it should fail on me. Sounds like you just regret not buying in when it was available.
@@Electric_Bill I bought the 1st ever final mouse and loved it. Ive bought and used newer versions as well but its just not worth it anymore. The last one I had stopped working after 11 months and unless I wanted to overpay on ebay for a used one I had to use something else which sucks. I started using the Viper pro v2 and there is literally no difference in quality or performance yet has a cheaper price tag and is available anywhere at anytime. It even supports 8k polling rate now. Final Mouse has become the Nike of mouses. You are overpaying for the name.
@@Booraad Any mouse that with feature parity with the ULX (or whatever new top dog replacement) will be sold out as "pro" gamers consistently prove they will pay and overpay for those features routinely. It is worth noting, however, that Finalmouse has stated that for the ULX they will be providing long term support, including the eventual permanent maintenance of their product range on their storefront.
For my money, I just feel better having the best new mouse, and I know I'm just gonna buy the next best thing when it drops anyway so the support is an afterthought. I'm not likely to resell, but to just gift it afterwards to a friend. So those are my cards on the table.
@@Booraad for quality differences, I would cite material, which results in its weight as being the main one in contention. For me personally, I also really hate having to install and habitually run OEM software to make a product function which as far as I am aware would still be the case with razer and synapse.
because the shape makes my thumb hurt a lot and its like 20 grams heavier
May i has one sir🙏
Wow wow wow, did I hear that right? Give away?
Wow cool mouse, can you buy it?
Shocking!
And yeah, all sold out. Not shocking 😅
i claimed it
