Here after Cillian is announced to be in 28 years later.
I keep having to remind myself that this is Cillian Murphy.
He's a great actor.
@@jymyrionwashington6849 i was like, murphy my boy is that you!
yeah...naked but made him a huge star
Irish oscar-winner Cillian Murphy
I loved this movie and never realised until 10secs ago
Back then when trailer wasn’t the movie
I remember watching this movie as a teen and feeling so scared and traumatized at the end of it. It's a great movie.
"28 Days Later"(2002) is a horror movie masterpiece, and one of the best and most scariest horror movies of all time! The amazing soundtrack of the movie is evocative and very atmospheric!
I personally think 28 weeks later and the scene where the dad runs out of the house leaving his wife and running to get the boat is the best zombie scene ever. The fear will make the worst of you to come out.
Yup.
@@Rezajalali yup.
Bro i watched this as a kid. Shook for years.
I love Godspeed so much!!!!
I have watched it 13 years ago and today I accidentally rewatched it what a wonderful nostalgic!
Where did you watch it, I can't find it anywhere?!
@@alexanderthegreat2678 I have watched it in a TV channel called mbc2 it is an old tv channel!
@@alexanderthegreat2678 did you watch it?
there will be a 28 years later, no release date yet but i'm excited and wanted to share
Came here after watching Oppenheimer. Ever since I saw this movie right after it came out, I have wished Cillian Murphy would get the respect and recognition he always deserved. He was always so underrated. Finally, he just might get that recognition with Oppenheimer.
100% agree
@@amoxziHow many people besides superfans actually could remember his name until after the 2010's? He was as Kevin Hart would say: "snap finger famous" until after sometime in the 2010's, even after Batman Begins and 28 Days Later. In the Dark Knight, his role seemed shoehorned into the movie at the last minute, and he still performed well. All that said, you're probably more correct to say that he was underexposed.
there will be a 28 years later!
@@lonewolf333 He was in quite a bit as a character actor before the 2010s, so I think people knew him and loved him but for a lot it was in a "that guy!!" Kind of way lol but he had major roles, like he had GG nominations and stuff before GG
The Wind That Shakes The Barley, Breakfast on Pluto, Sunshine, Intermission, etc. I think if someone was really into film or from Ireland than he would have been recognizable for sure, like before 2010 a lot of news places were calling him "the next Colin Farrell" or something.
I think it's the difference between being famous outside of America being famous including America lol, I think a lot of his American fan base came after he was in inception (along with the dark knight sure) and then peaky blinders, but he was definitely known, underexposed sure, but probably more of a if somebody showed you a picture of them there will be a lot of people saying "oh I know him I love him"
Definitely in Ireland because he was in some major Irish films, and then in London plays
Bro he plays the lead in Peaky Blinders wdym
This trailer is very well-made, I remember when it came-out, I was 8 years old at the time. I didn’t really understand what the « threat » was, and it made me absolutly terrified.
Gino Vieira did you ever watch the movie and was it good?
@@limitlesschocolate2796 Its a great movie, but my opinion may differ from yours
@@charliejensen5340 I’m getting flashbacks now. Naked Jakey did a video about this
That pisses me off in horror movies. You sense something is horribly wrong but you still yell at the top of your lungs screaming for help
in reality you'd go mad having to wake up not seeing a soul around. You'll start to question reality by screaming and shouting for some sort of assurance of human life aside from yours
Life now. Its life imitating art
India at the moment, 28 day lockdown!
All this in India should be known forever as the Modidemic!
@@Findyourownway1 WATCH YOUR BACK !!!!!!!!!
this is nothing like "real life" as we know it or even the current pandemic... this is far far worse. if this were to actually happen you wouldn't have a youtube to come and watch this trailer or comment on it. there would literally be no internet to come back to.
Greetings from LA in January 2021
When I saw this movie. I remember having the feeling, that this movie would change our conception of how we see horror survival and zombie survival.
It was like seeing Nirvana for the first time In a dark and nasty bar outside of Seattle in 1989. One of the best films ever
I’m not usually a envious person but seeing nirvana in a bar in Seattle makes me wish it was me
And then they begins zombie apocalypse movies mass production.
Still this one is one of the best movies ever.
seen this movie a long time ago, it makes you want to see it again.
You are about to witness it in real life.
@@D3cker1 corona is coming!!
@@D3cker1 How the coronavirus is completely different
I'll always remember this as the first movie in history where zombies could run, and with such rage. And the fact that they made a great movie about it and not just rest on "let zombies run' and be done, is actually what makes this one of the best horror movies of all time, at least in the jump scare genre.
I'm not a horror fan as too many of them just rely on jump scares, gore, or extremely uninteresting opponents that you could really just take out with any modicum of planning (e.g. just sniper Micheal Myers rather than create a whole extravagant plan to cage him and burn your house down) and I heard he's supposed to be back again (JLC, I kind of think you deserved him to 'rise again' and so I've got no interest in seeing the sequel to the sequel of a movie that was supposed to be the final sequel of a movie written without the intention of having any sequels (like The Matrix).
I digress, this movie was a shock when it came out, no only because no one expected them to run, but because the story and characters in a horror movie were actually believable,
I still remain hopeful that there'll be a 28 Years Later, it would be perfect given a current world events. Things were more predictable back in the 00s, except this movie.
Dude, running zombies is still terrifying.
28 Years Later is confirmed to be in development now
@VuNguyen-fv5jl I just saw something about this. I'm pretty stoked for a 28 years later movie.
Whos here after knowing this is getting a sequel??
Me. I watched it. And it still holds strong.
you mean part 3?
I live in London and just wanted to say how terrifying this would be to live through. I literally just woke up from a nightmare scenario just like this, where crazies move at pace, and I had to be cautious every minute alone, looking for shelter. I even had to run away from a pack and only managed to escape briefly by what would be considered an ex machina. Bearing in mind this is happening in London, but somehow the running took me to the countryside. And it was there the same crazies were still pursuing me based on my scent because I did manage to get some distance due to that 'help' from earlier. But, it was at that point hearing their loud sniffs and me sweating I realised there was no chance and woke up to post this. A* on the scale of terror for this movie especially if you are from London.
Honestly bro I live in the USA with a lot of weapons, ammo, gear and military training I know a lot of men/hillbillys that are praying for a scenario like this
I swear dreams like that stay with you bro
I would say London is more terrifying without zombies. It's a shithole.
@@Steven-gl4cw to live in maybe. But to visit it ain't that bad
It revived the zombie genre almost too well.
Having lived in London most of my life, seeing such usually busy places like picadilly circus absolutely deserted made me scared in itself, factor in the Olympic level zombies, 28 Days Later has got to be one of the most frightening films ever made 😮😮😮😮😮😮
2021 and this is me the only survivor
28 Days Later is one of the best Scifi/Virus/Zombie/Horror Movie ever and this is my favorite movie too so much.
Dude! It was one of 2 the most scary movies I have ever watched. Absolutely love it. Still after all this year's haven't found nothing close to this level. All other productions are more or less predictable.
Btw it is just today I realised Tommy Shelby and 28 days later guy are same person.
Mr. Murphy, respect 🎉
This is a movie I will never forget! One of the best..
Back here bcs Cillian Murphy is down for a second part and I don’t even know the first 😂
This is the best real infection horror movie of all time! Scary as hell!
This movie is brilliant! For suspense it has one of the best 16 minute intros that I've ever watched, the two minute opener tells it all, then music starts out soft and builds to a frantic pass as the young man that woke up alone in the hospital discovers part of what is happening in the world. The thing about this movie is that with all we now know about countries and their experimental labs to create new viruses, this is as plausible as Covid.
28 years later out soon starting a new trilogy ✌️
Came hear cuz of the Coronavirus
Same thing here lol
Perfect Opportunity to see it 1rst time
Me too.
But they are completely different
Lmao
Murphy just won an academy award!
if it was in our world it would go like that
zombie apocalypse: *happens*
people: zombie apocalypse is not real, I'm gonna do what I want, have you ever seen someone actually turn into a zombie, they just want to control us
zombies: *chews on their arm*
people: yeah those are just paid actors, turn off tv turn on your brain
Accurate AF
*Watches the world fall apart while chilling in Antarctica
Oh no! How’d you get out of your pin?🐑
You sound so lame. So now covid is equal to zombies? Wtf is wrong with you sheep? Works wide death rates were the same in 2017,2018,2019, and yes 2020, you twit. 99.8 % survival rate for covid.
Meanwhile you’re locked in your room thinking the deadliest virus is out to get you because all you do is watch TV
This is how a trailer should be: teasing the theme and content rather than showing us the whole movie. They don't linger on the amazing London shots either. Great movie
I remember in college, one of my roommates spent hours trying to find an hd version of 28 days later. Then he found out it didn’t matter what the resolution was, it was designed to look crappy.
Who's here after 28 Years Later?
I do.
Remember being so stoked seeing the trailers and TV spots, they were so vague. Great contrast with Brian Eno. You didn't know what to expect!
This movie is insanely good. At times, you can actually feel the loneliness he felt when he was alone. It is the best infection movie. World war z, Z nation, resident evil, the walking dead? Hell no. This one is the best of all of them. And the soundtracks. You actually feel like you are in the movie.
Agreed.
danny boyle is a genius
28 Days later such a masterpiece of horror movie! and Brian Eno soundtrack "An Ending Ascent" match perfectly well.

"The invasion of the atomic zombies 1980" by Italian director Umberto Lenzi is considered the first horror film with fast zombies, not 28 days later as many think and this data I came to reconfirm in Eli Roth's series "History of Horror by AMC "
28 days later>>> great movie and of course the influence of Alex Garland were the George a Romero and Resident Evil movies, but Lenzi's Atomic Zombies was an important starting point. Recommended Movie

“Fox Searchlight Pictures presents. Cillian Murphy. Noamie Harris. And Christopher Eccleston. “28 Days Later”. The days are numbered soon at theaters everywhere.”
You guys think I’m crazy for saying this but Danny Boyle is the most creative, inspiring director of all time. I mean, look at this movie and its performance but Cillian,Naomi and Brendan
Totally, there aren't many directors who have slam dunked as many different genres as Danny Boyle.
It's such a shame his James Bond film never happened, he was such a good fit. I hope some day he and Barbara Brocolli can bury the hatchet and try again.
East Hastings.
Oscar winning actor
who's here after hearing that 28 Years later is in development with orignal writer and director?
Me.
Good movie.
I got an anxiety attack from watching this, reminding me of coronavirus
People who love this movie, please check out Sunshine. Another movie by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland and starring Cillian. One of the best sci fi movies of the last 30 years and also boasts an incredible soundtrack!!!!
Also irl I'm not fat but proportionally, I'd say I'm not well built for running. So there was even more of a fear factor during my dream scenario of this. And for some reason Denzel Washington from Flight was in the shopping centre part of my nightmare; he was a crazy at that point. Ethan Hawk may have been there too.
Okay "there is" something like the new 28 Days Later only scarier, it's crazy what can happen in such a short time.
I wanted to see it again but it seems to be no longerlonger available ANYWHERE😕

Not gonna lie..an empty London is way scarier than an empty New York City...

Kinda seems like its coming true now
If only I could watch it easier.
That jumpscare at the end makes me laugh. What's even the point? The music used is great. It's incredibly unsettling, makes me feel uneasy and unnerved...and then BLARGHRAGHRAH! Ruins the mood...
